Eight miles on the treadmill last night. Really struggled with it; I just did not want to be on that thing for that long. 58min34sec.

I hate the treadmill when I go to the gym, even with my ipod and watching the TV is just seems for ever, congrats.

    Heading for a run, now

I'm not yet running the distances you guys are but I like the accountability here.
I'm training for my first half (either Miami ING or Ft. Lauderdale A1A) in Jan/Feb '11.
I am currently doing a 4min run/1min walk rotation, today was for 35 minutes, total distance about 3.2 miles.
Tomorrow's long run is the same rotation for 45 minutes....

I ran 4 miles at only 31:10. I didn't want to push it since I am running a 10K in the morning. I just want to see how I do in it since I feel like I have been training for that more than a 5K.

I would be happy if I could run it under 40 minutes. I just don't know if my body will let me. I am trying to make sure I only go through at 6:25 for the first mile. If I go faster I am not sure I will be able to maintain that pace.

    Thanks Briefs!
I wanted to err on the side of caution and start slow so my body would adjust....don't spring back like I used to. icon_smile.gif

    a 10k under 40 min is fantastic..
    i never managed any better than a breath under 39min. ( 3 years ago ) .

ran 20 minutes on treadmill. somewhat cutting down on cardio and trying to add mass a bit.
    see if that works.
tomorrow, going mtbiking but not more than 1h15 and mostly fun techniccal stuff.
