It's good that you were honest. It may be hard at first but I'm sure in the end it will all turn out well.

Good luck and keep us posted on how it went.

I will make several assumptions about the meaning of your post.

But congratulations. Things may seem awkward now, but they only improve from here.

Three Cheers for Trocks! Hip-hip Hooray!
Trust us...life is so much better and easier when you aren't always trying to cover a "secret"! I bet mom had a hint/clue or suspicion anyway....the good moms always know their kids, almost better than the kids know themselves.... Take care.icon_cool.gif

I assume Trocks came out to his mother.

Congrats to you Trocks for your honesty. It can be easy to back down in that situation. Your mother was also brave to initiate the conversation. That couldn't have been easy for her, either.

    Please fill us in.

If she's asked you more than once, she's ready. Maybe not ready to accept it, but ready to know and deal with it.

My mother asked me multiple times so I figured she was ready to hear it...

She still hasn't accepted nor dealt with it and after almost 10 years, hopes it's just a passing phase.

On a lighter note, congrats, Trocks!

How did your Mom know you were gay? How did she ask the first question? What prompted her to ask? Questions, questions, questions. icon_lol.gificon_wink.gif

i don't know what else to say beyond what we talked about last night, but i wanted to show support here, too. just remember, bro, you've got friends...me, the other guys here at RJ and yeah, even logan. he may not be gay, but what else are best friends for, right? hang in there, tyler...you'll make it through.

    Congratulations...

It's tough to tell your Mom such things.
She needs to know. It will make things better between the two of you now that she knows.
You don't like her Meatloaf, she'll live with it and start to cook something else instead.

Well ya did it! Better to get it out of the way sooner. If I were closer I would throw you a "gay mitvah". as it is though you will have to settle for a beer or something if you are ever out here.

PS I just noticed you are 20. Make that beer an ice cream sunday

His feeling that he has to something other than what he is! lol (actually the cutting thing for Jews happen on the 8th day though see Bris http://judaism.about.com/library/3_lifecycles/bris/blbrit2.htm Whereas Bar Mitzvah is at 13 years)
I would hope a Gay Mitzvah would be a big celebration of a guy coming into gay manhood. Oh and lots of gifts.

i think you´re mother is quite clever and very relaxed about all this queer/puff/bent/daisy/homo/gay/etc-stuff. (she´s been around just a bit longer than you... you know...icon_smile.gif

she probably saw you suffering a little bit and thought... let´s help him out, can´t bear this hush-hush no longer.

basically she took a weight off your shoulders and now you can concentrate on other things too (e.g. paying more attention in class!!!, hehehehe)icon_wink.gif
