southbeach1500 saidAnd next... the Tea Party and the Republicans will launch an extermination campaign against the gays!

Oh and get your topic straight: Is it "Ron" Paul or "Rand" Paul????

TOPIC NAME: "Ron Paul teabaggers stomp on a woman's head"

Nothing you say can change the fact that two grown men pushed a defenseless woman to the ground and stomped on her head.

Teabaggers just make it TOO easy.

That's horrifying. They attacked her because she was wearing a funny outfit. God, if leftists started attack right-wingers for wearing weird outfits, the tea baggers would all be in traction. icon_rolleyes.gif

What was she doing? did she have some wig on? It almost looked like she was running up to him to assault him or something and they were trying to stop her. Either way, that man shouldn't have put his foot on her head/neck like that, it just wasn't warranted.

The other guy standing by immediately said "no no no no, come on".

Also, stop saying "teabagger", it's an offensive term.

It's only offensive if you're a prude. And they started it.

If it walks like a Teabagger, if it talks like a Teabagger, if it stomps on a woman's head like a Teabagger...it's a Teabagger.

Oh man, had this been liberals stomping on conservatives or scary black guys standing around, Fox news would have this on a 24hour loop with Megan Kelly freaking out in the background.

I also find it funny that MockTwinkie is attempting to blame the victim and Southbeach is trying to deflect attention away from whats going on.

Face it guys, conservatives have been drumming up violent rhetoric and this is the result, it's only going to get worse.

I suppose if someone replaced "teabagger" with "chink" or "n*gger" it would be just as funny, right?

I was asking that it not be used out of courtesy, this is far from a matter of legislation. Do you even know the difference?

You're confusing the matter. The Tea Partiers initially referred to themselves as "tea baggers" saying they were going to "tea bag" Congress and the White House. Unfortunately (for them), they did not realize there was a sexual connotation to the term. (Another reason why we need comprehensive sex ed!) So, they have no one but themselves to blame.

And your comparison is intellectually dishonest because Asian- and African-Americans are "racial" categories, which are immutable. The decision to join a "movement" (really, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koch Industries) is something one can change.

Way to dodge the substance of the issue.

Now, the "one tea partier" you refer to, is it this guy?

OH yes christian, there's just so much substance to this debate. Now do you want to tell me that using other slurs are okay because the people that they are intended for actually use them also?

I just don't like the term, I find it offensive.

Actually, the difference between us is that you would actually want censorship to be legislated as long as it fits what you like or don't like. I simply have a preference and was requesting that the word isn't used.

    No, not all.

Some of them handcuff and threaten reporters, some of them refuse to be interviewed by anyone but specially-chosen "reporters," some of them can't seem to remember which books and magazines they read, some of them lie about their records...

    Now THAT'S diversity!
