Why have Republicans, as a bloc, turned on Veterans returning from the War Zones?

Republican John Boehner, who may become the next speaker of the House, received a D- Grade from Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America [IAVA] on the report card on members supporting Vets issues this term.

Republican whip, Eric Cantor of Virginia, may challenge for the job; Cantor's grade, also a D.

Darrell Issa, the SoCal Member vowing several more 'investigations' if Republicans gain House control, should be probed himself, after scoring a D- grade.

In fact, Democrats earned 91 or 94, A to A+ grades this term, while Republicans notched up 142 of 154, D & F grades.

Doesn't turning against Veterans justify turning OFF your support?

This is the untold story of this war(s). For all the talk about how Dems don't support the troops, their treatment under Bush was abysmal. It's been MUCH better under Obama.
