I haven't been sick in literally 3 years. Not so much as a sneeze. The other day my sinuses decided to act up. It's a bitch to get rid of.

Anyway, the point of this story is I have an awesome fucking immune system.

    The end.

I've taken 3 sick days in 25 years of employment. So, I think the answer is, "Not very often".

One or two times a year, esp with sudden weather change. But usually its because its cold outside and I decide to under dress and be bold. Something I did recently, walking out in 45 degrees right after a hot shower with hair still wet. Sneezeeeeeee...oops excuse me.

I got the flu last year. I think that it was the first time. I get colds about once every 5 years. I think that part of it has to do with not being around a lot of people. I work from home.

The last cold I had was probably the spring of 2009. I remember because my boyfriend, who was new at the time, was totally awesome. He became my bedside nurse!

I rarely get colds, but somehow I managed to get meningitis this summer. I think that pretty much made up for the lack of colds and then some.

I get really sick about once every 5 to 7 years. When I do, it is usually something really bad. This year I had an infection in my leg where it really swelled up. It went into the bones of my ankle and the bottom of my leg and now I have osteomyelitis. My leg is ok now, but the doctor said that it could take from 6 months to a year to completely go away from my ankle. It is a pain because sometimes I swell up so much, I can not get my shoe on. I have about 3 to 9 months left to go.

i'm in close contact with kids everyday . So i get a cold twice a year more or less. They're never really bad, just congestion for a few days and it goes away.
    flu? i had one in 1993 .
oh and i had shingles once , and refused to take zovirax.
    fever was amazing.

I usually get sick one a year or less and it typically only last for one day. I'm very fortunate to have the immune system I do especially considering all of the health problems I had as a child.
