There's a few brightening creams marketed towards people with dark skin that helps with uneven pigmentation that might help. The best I've used is from Japan, Shiseido and SKII, which are massively popular there because a lot of people admire lighter and even toned skin.
It is a bit expensive but give them a shot. Otherwise, I've heard a bit of yoghurt and lemon juice on the trouble spots help fade dark spots. And if you're using stronger creams like ones that contain hydroquinone you have to avoid sunlight (like Michael Jackson) to prevent your concern from reappearing.

My problem is that I have bags under my eyes because I don't like to sleep and don't drink enough water but I've started using this Garnier eye roll on thing which I think is working but only slightly. And a few slices of cucumbers or wet tea bags for a few minutes helps too.

    how clear is your urine?
    how ofter do you pee?

Also: may want to check your Iron intake/levels.

really MuchMore...you know all this, you could teach it.
A urologist told me if your urine isn’t clear; you’re not drinking enough water.
    On the same page if you’re urinating too much (and it’s clear) you’re may be drinking too much. {hyponatremia}
The Iron or (enema) can cause low O2 levels which can be evident by the dark circles (are you yawning a lot?). This is also evident in people who suffer with asthma.

I have one of those roller-ball pens by L'Oreal for Men for dark eye circles. The best remedy though is more sleep and more water.

The color of your urine is often-associated with levels of hydration, but the color of the urine is mostly controlled by your protein intake, not anything else. The appearance of yellowness in your urine is the Nitrogen that is cleaved off of protein molecules during your protein digestion process known as, "deamination."

So naturally the specific gravity of your urine is going to be affected by body plasma volume AS WELL AS protein intake. Eat lots of protein? Pee yellow.

    Science science science,

Under eye dark circles tend to worsen with over use, the capillary network becomes flooded to suppy nutrients.
Take a flannel, soak it in cold water (pop it into the fridge or freezer is pos) and then lay back and rest it on your eyes.
The cold will cause vaso-contristions and some of the colour should fade. This is only a short term solution.
    Ideally rest more.

    This doesn't make sense.

Water and sleep. That's it. I don't get much sleep, but I still don't have dark circles. I use OSEA eye serum+eye/lip cream (totally affordable).

Greatest solution invented though for my professional side during the week:

    DIOR skinflash (pink+)
    CHANEL Pro Lumiere Correcteur (yellow+)
    Guerlain Issima
I can't believe I actually use this, but Estee Lauder Double Wear (Neutral+ but won't move for like three days, great for camping)

If they are really bad: Bobbi Brown creme (that's some heavy duty shit)

-With my artillery of ammunition, you'll never see me with dark circlesicon_smile.gif

In addition to the more water, sleep.

Eat less salt, no smoking, less drinking, cool cucumber slices on the eyes, and eye creams.

Can we get together so you can teach me how to wear mascara the proper way? As it stands now every time I do my own I always wind up with that cheap hooker prostitute look. icon_question.gificon_idea.gificon_question.gif

yeah but could actually be enticing.

i'm getting eyebags under the eye, ..age.
i know the solution though and it's $2,000.
    hoping for it next year.

Lots of water. Also avoid processed and starchy foods, especially before bed. I swear to god, eat a bowl of pasta or bread then go to bed, you'll wake up with the puffiest, darkest eyes.

There are things you can do to eliminate those pesky dark circles which make you look tired and old..............when you really aren't. And the answer isn't in an expensive department store cream.

    Do your homework. Google it.

    It's worth the effort.

Then again.......I thank my lucky stars for having good genes.

    That's show business folks.

I used to be allergic to everything in the world (I could have been a bubble boy, which would have made the gay sex all the more interesting....) and had such dark circles under my eyes because of the allergens. Long story short (too late), see if you are perhaps being exposed to things that you may be allergic to and get a consult by an allergist.

You also may not be getting enough sleep. Or it may be abuse icon_eek.gif. But seriously, though look at environmental issues.

hmm I use to have really bad dark circles back in high school due to alot of late night partying and over nighters. Sleep is the only cure, and moisturizing your eyes I found really helpful! Drink alot of water cause it helps your skin. Also, I read this somewhere online like awhile back ago that if you put sperm under your eyes it helps LOL cause the protein and the nutrients transfer to the skin or something!
