I have a buddy who is wondering about his sexual orientation and was wondering who he can go to talk to about this sort of thing and any issues (dealing with anti-glbt policies, faith issues, family issues, etc) that come up from simply identifying as something other than "hetero". I am sure there are counselors out there who are trained to deal with these issues, but I am also hoping to explore other options (such as an online community like this one) that I could recommend for him. Of course, I will try and be there for him as much as I can but I feel like there is a limit to how much I can do to help with this situation. Any advice is appreciated fellas and thanks in advance.

Here is a link to Cincinnati's Gay Community Center. I noticed this disclaimer at the site under programs:

"We do not provide counseling, mental health, legal services, or employment services of any kind. The Center will refer you to various professionals and/or on-line resources for further assistance. We do not host a youth group."

Kind of unusual for a gay community center, but they might be able to at least get him in the right direction.
