so I have been reading a lot lately.. and I am running out of books that catch my interest. I am open to suggestions. I predominantly like Modern fantasy.

Books I have read and enjoyed.

    Harry Potter series
    Twilight series
Circle of Magic, The Circle Opens, The Circle Reforged
Percy Jackson and the Olympians series
    Drisden Files.
    Rainbow Boys series
    Mortal Instruments series
    Eragon series
    Bound in Blood
    Mark Manning mysteries.

If you can't tell i like to read series books... prefer male leads but not a MUST if the male love interest will do.. lol

Try the Sookie Stackhouse series [True Blood is based on them]

They're from the perspective of a woman but it's a great series. The men are depicted as yummy and there's a lot of dry laughs and some murder mystery for kicks.

If you're a fan of the Dresden Files, you might like the first 10 books of Laurel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake: Vampire hunter series.

Rob Thurman's Cal Leandros series is a hoot and a holler too. Very good stuff. It manages to land somewhere in between Jim Butcher's humor and Hamilton's splatterfest violence. http://www.amazon.com/Nightlife-Cal-Leandros-Book-1/dp/0451460758/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1288327941&sr=8-1
