Alright, well I was about to take a shower right now but then I notice something strange on my ass while I was taking a dump before I shower. When I was sitting down I notice that the left side of my cheek started to hurt out of no where and then I looked in the mirrior and saw something that resembled a pimple on my ass. So how do you get ride of it??

Taking hot showers with lots of soap and not wearing dirty/sweaty underwear. If that doesn't work, get a body wash with some salicylic acid in it.

By the way, the circumstances under which you found the pimple? Waaaaaaaay TMI. icon_eek.gif

Um. Depending on its appearance, you might actually have a staph infection. Maybe have it looked at by a doctor?
    ....
On that note, how often are you bathing?

If i'm thinking of the right thing.. 1. you could pop it with a needle/push pin wiped with alcohol or antiseptic stuffs, clean it with warm water. or 2. get something with 11-alpha-hydroxysterodehydrogenase, i.e some creams to help your body make an anti-inflammatory effect.

On a random note, I blame the toilet seat! O.o;.

Good luck my be de bro!

Pretty simple dude just use oxy or any acne cream with 10% benzoyl peroxide. Will take a couple days

You'll want to study up on follicolitis, boils / carbuncles, and acne.

In the case of either, a hot wet compress will help to turn the infection over. (White cells follow the heat and come to the top.) Other remedies work, too, like anything greasy with a bit of sulfur (anti-bacterial and a skin softener), which softens the skin and allows whatever is stuck to pop out.

Your communication and research skills need work, as well. This is something you should have been able to more effectively communicate, but, really, shouldn't have had to communicate at all given the current state of The Internet as a research tool.

RRB is correct, this has happen to me in the past and they are abcess or boils and they are common. Everyone has already commented the remedies - but from the Mayo Clinic below:

    * Apply a warm washcloth or compress to the affected area. Do this for at least 10 minutes every few hours. If possible, first soak the cloth or compress in warm salt water. This helps the boil rupture and drain more quickly.

    * Never squeeze or lance a boil yourself. This can spread the infection.

    * Wash your hands thoroughly after treating a boil. Also, launder clothing, towels or compresses that have touched the infected area, especially if you have recurrent boils or carbuncles.

Use any topical acne medication, it will take a few weeks to clear since the skin in your buttocks is more sensitive than your face, this has been my experience.

If it's not an infection, it's probably just inflammation. Crush up a bit of aspirin and wet it down, and apply it to the area. Should reduce it. I do that all the time with ingrown hairs or inflamed follicles or acne, works well.

I know this is gonna sound crazy, but, burn it off with a cigarette. I used to have really really bad acne. Now I just tell people I used to be a fireman. It's all about respect, y'know?

Whatever it is cannot be determined by list forum diagnosis, no matter how well intended. Go see a doctor. When you go, explain that you don't want to panic if this happens again. Ask what you should watch for and how you should deal with it.

The real pain in the ass in these situations is that nearly 100% of them turn out to be nothing of any consequence, but they do cost you money and inconvenience. Nevertheless, you gotta deal with it.

    RowBuddy saidwash yo ass foo!

Ok I wash my ass every day! Alright well i only take dumps when Im about to take a shower since I dont believe in using toilet paper. I find it disguesting spreading shit all over my ass so I dont believe in using it cause its unsanitary to me. This is why I take showers after I take a dump automatically. This might be alittle to information or not... Well last week I was doing my monthly trim down there cause I havent done it in 2 months so it was pretty bushy to say the least... Then I had an icon_idea.gif to shave my ass since i looked in the mirror and it was pretty hairy. I never done it before, so I took the chance and did it. The next day when i woke up I found that my ass was really prickly and i notice small red bumps. Most of them went away besides the one on my left ass cheek.

I cant tell if its a pimple or foliculitus(however you spell it).

Ive been to the doctor for a smiler thing back in high school when I thought I had herpes down there because of shaving my private part.... It was a bad experience, try thinking of an 65 year old man telling me to drop my pants and telling my mother, "get out the room, he might get uncomfortable," as well as touching your balls with those cold gloves.... He told me it was foliculitus (however you spell it) I think its the same on my ass but I dont know. Also, I cant go to the doctor no more, my parents stop paying healthcare so I dont have healthcare and its to much money to pay upfront at the doctors.

I shower atleast 2 times a day, one in the morning, one at night.

Stop sitting on the same part of your ass when on the computer. It pinches your skin and can cause that. Shift around every once in a while, or get up.
