    Hi Guys -

For anyone interested in the Atlantis cruise to the Mediterranean in August 2011 like the one I reported on this past summer ( see:

They just announced the tentative new 2011 Itinerary and it sounds amazing -- one of the stops is Tunis, Africa among many exciting others. This is Atlantis' 20th Anniversary Med cruise, and it's 9 days, so it should really be an adventure to remember. Here's the link FYI...

Would be so fun to get a bunch of RJers onboard for this cruise. Have to plan ahead though because this will probably be sold out by Thanksgiving. Guys, if you're interested, you have to get signed up pretty quickly. If anyone has any questions about these cruises, feel free to email me

Wow - looks incredible - I've been on a couple str8 cruises, and read your blog about this past summers cruise with great interest....I agree that this one will probably sell out fast, and I'd love to go!

One good thing about this new itinerary is that it starts and ends in Rome so the flights will be cheaper getting to/from Europe. The Last Med cruise started in Venice & ended in Athens, which made for a pricier flight.

Just a note to anyone considering taking this cruise, you only have to put a small deposit down in the beginning, and then you pay a little bit at a time every 3 months so that by the time August 2011 rolls around your trip is paid for. You can also cancel with a refund of your deposit up to a certain date. That being said, if you are considering this cruise you really should reserve a space right away, find out what the cancellation date is, and then decide by then if you want to commit. This one will sell out because, unlike previous years when they did 2 cruises back-to-back on the med, in 2011 they are combining it onto one large 20th Anniversary cruise.

Sounds awesome Todd, my bf and I were talking about this sort of thing the other day. Certainly would like to learn more about it.

My partner and I will definitely be on this trip...such a GREAT itinerary!

And, by the way, Todd is absolutely right...if you want to get on this cruise, book it NOW! For the past several years Atlantis has run two Med cruises and a Baltic cruise during the summer. This year this will be the only trip they offer during the summer and I'm sure it will sell out quickly.

I'm thinking about going to the 20th Anniversary but most of my friends cannot afford it. I might be traveling alone. icon_sad.gif
