I'm headed there this winter, to Cebu specifically.

It's nothing more than a chill-out trip...I plan to spend most of my days in a speedo going from hotel room to pool/beach. I might put on some clothing in the evening to go to a nice dinner/bar. icon_wink.gif

Has anybody been to this part of the world? Any recommendations? I am definitely open to tours, i.e. snorkel, hiking, etc.

ive been there this year... cebu is ok... but my friend told me that bohol is much much better...

i also been to puerto gallera, philippines earlier this year... snorkling/scuba is amazing... everything is cheaper in puerto gallera... i also warn you that in cebu if you don't speak or look like a local the prices would just go up...

if youre going to stay in cebu, you might wanna go to boracay island, aklan. its a nice white sand beach with lots of nightlife too.

as far as trekking is concerned, osmeƱa peak would be your only option in cebu.

the rest, youre gonna have to explore with the locals, they are usually warm, friendly, nice and all that so i think youll never gonna have a problem with having company.

have fun and thanks for helping our economy for being a tourist. icon_smile.gif
