Hate the off white, and the new start up screen takes too long.

I personally LOVE it, very "Kinect" ready

I think its just something that takes time to get use to other than that i love the ESPN feature as well as the audio and video Kinect feature

    can't wait for it's release

I am growing towards liking it; although it feels kinda... cheap.

Microsoft has been moving towards standardizing it's GUIs.

IE Microsoft devices such as the Xbox and Windows 7 phone are following suit with the zune-blockish interface.

Windows 7, Office, and Windows Live Essentials are all converting or already have converted over to the new block-tab interface. I'm sure other departments in microsoft are busily converting their user interfaces to match.

    Basically: Lots of blocks.

I preferred the old look but that's always the case, I'll adjust.

I don't care if it's Kinect-ready as I don't plan on getting it, at least not until they have some decent games! I find that whole Wii style of gaming really gimmicky and gets old quick.

I don't really care one way or the other. It looks cleaner.

Trust me, it's not intended to look very "Wii'ish."

I landed an early Kinect - one of the few privileges of working in this industry - and am not too fond of it. While it's better than Sony's Move, it's still not all MSFT is making it out to be (no surprise there). Let's wait to see what happens with title launches that appeal to the core. For now, it's still too early to call this one.

    Hate it...

Someone ripped off the Wii GUI and used it to murder any traces of personality my XBox system may have previously had....and for what I suspect is the upcoming release of Kinect which IMHO wont be nearly as successful as MS hopes it will be.

I agree with Tapper mostly... feels cleaner but having previously owned (and hated) a Wii I have to say, with the addition of the avatars last year and now this...it feels like that's where it is headed.

Edit: My xbox tag is jwc1979 if anyone wants to add me... icon_razz.gif
