Saw it. Liked it. Didn't say I absolutely love it. I'm sure it was a take off from the movie "28 Days Later". The beginning of when he woke up from his hospital bed and finding that everyone was dead was eerily similar.

Other than that, I thought it was well made for a mini-series. I can already see the plot between him, his wife and her now new love interest (since they think he's dead), who happens to be his partner in crime will thicken.

I think the lead actor is HOT. Great body. LOL. It's good to have a good looking lead actor/s, since the rest of the cast/extras are gawd awful looking and many are already decomposing. LOL.

Very good show, yes the beginning was a take from 28 Days Later, but hopefully it will continue to be as good as the 1st episode.

Yeah i saw it it reminded me a lot of "28 days later" and "resident evil". I liked it though and im going to continue to watch it and see how it progresses. I feel bad for him though with his wife and best friend now together, that means somebody has to die lol

I´ve been reading the graphic novel this show is based on for quite some time, and it is VERY good. The first episode was very faithful to the source material and if it continues that way, it's going to be terrific.

The story it's not about the zombies per se, but rather how would you live in a world where everything has changed... what's right? what's wrong? is there a reason to live? who can you trust?

By the way, BOTH "28 Days Later" and "The Walking Dead" pay homage to the novel "The Day of the Triffids" on their respective initial sequences.

I have pretty much seen all of the zombie moves to date and I give this one two thumbs up. In fact, i watched it twice! But then again, i am old school so I prefer the "slow" zombies - means i have a better chance at surviving a zombie attack!

I thought it was pretty basic, and kind of horror movie style/video game style.

I want to see how it develops though. I know it's a book and what not, but shows always differ.

Love it! Creepy & gory yet with a sense of humor too. Judging from AMC's other series, this one too will only get better as it picks up steam.... Already set as a season pass on Tivo

Sure - 28 Days Later nod in the first episode but missing the full frontal shot from the movie...darn. Officer friendly is hot!

Haha, so far I love the show as well; was always intrigued by zombies and vampires! The acting and the scenes are good so far and I hope they will continue on with it. However, if they stop paying attention to details and create too many flaws I will probably loose interest in this show.

renewed for a 2nd season (13 episodes). Unfortunately this season will only be 6 episodes. Has garnered the highest ratings ever for the 18-49 demo on cable tv

Much better than I had anticipated a tv series to be. Unfortunately it has already copied from many existing movies, but still makes it work in it's favor.

Just caught up with the season finale. Seems to give the survivors a fresh start to head out. I think the big question asked will be what did Jenner whisper to Rick. Have not read any of the graphic novels and prefer to just let the series play out without knowing anything

I cant believe we will have to wait another year for season 2. Best new show on tv this year.
