    Im seriously considering this ride. vueltapr.com Interested if there is anyone out there who has done it, thinking of doing it, wants to train for it, etc. Nice time of year to be in PR.

    Its a lotta miles in 2 days. Never ridden over 110 in a day and the first day is 154 or something like that. Still, sun, water, bikes, guys in lycra......what could go wrong?

    that's a heck of a lot , i've never done beyond 125 miles ( 200km )
    i suppose it comes down to the average speed you need maintaining.
    better stock up on power gels...lol.

    I'll be there in January doing this, really looking forward to it. This will be my first time, my friends did it last year and said I just had to join them.

    @ironmatt: I would love to hear about it , what that first day is like at 153 miles and hills. What the guys were like too; where you stayed, etc. Have a blast and maybe i'll see you there in 2012
