So I went to a gay club last weekend and saw this very cute young masculine guy sitting alone playing with his phone. He looked uncomfortable, like he was a straight guy stuck in a gay club. I sat down next to him and introduced myself, then asked if he was having a good time.

    He said, "Yeah, I'm cool."

So I left it at that, figuring if he asked me the same question in return, he was at least interested enough in a conversation.

After a brief period, he turns to me, "How about you?"

Boom...I had my "IN"...so I start making conversation. I'm far from a "player" but usually if I can get a guy to have a long conversation with me in a loud club, I usually at least get his number.

He tells me that he doesn't club often and that he was really only there for his friend who was off somewhere.

We talk about his motorcycle interests and how dangerous it is, I find out he was only 22 yrs old, etc, etc...

But he keeps mentioning how he was there for his friend, a 40+ year old guy.

He asks me a couple questions also.

Then he mentions his friend ONCE AGAIN and says that he only came for him. I finally ask what he means and he says, "He came here to find somebody to fuck him. I'm just being real. He wanted me to come with him out here and send guys his way that talk to me. So that's all I came here to do."

I say that I don't judge guys that wanna do that, to each his own. But that's not for me.

"What's not for you?" He asked.

Having one-night-stands after meeting in a club.

    "Oh, aight."

There was a brief moment of silence.

"Hey, imma go see what's up with my boy."

I say, yeah you go do that. Then he gets up and leaves and stops at an older guy (his friend) who was standing not too far away.

    LOL.

Is this a common thing? I'm still kinda new to the "scene" I guess but does this bait and switch thing happen a lot? Do you think they were a couple in an "open" relationship? Is that how those couples get a third party involved?

Of course it's a common thing. Where are you from, 19th century Britain?
