I can't believe Dawn Wells would have been arrested.... Mary Ann was from Winfield, KS after all.

Maybe this is something Caslon created....maybe he drank too much morning coffee!!!!icon_biggrin.gif

Article said: "According to the sheriff's office report, Gutierrez pulled Wells over after noticing her swerve and repeatedly speed up and slow down...."

Uhm, this is fairly typical driving here in the NY/NJ area.

I remember that Dawn Wells' name came up in another marijuna investigation some years back.

Bob Denver was arrested on a marijuana charge in 1998 and it was thought that Dawn Wells was his supplier, however she was never charged.

    Recent pic of Dawn Wells:

She looks good for her age. I like that she has a few little wrinkles and that she hasn't mutilated herself with plastic surgery the way so many celebrities have.

Oh man! I can still remember watching that show as a kid. Now, when people say they don't make shows like 'that' anymore, it's one of the first shows to come to mind... and Dick Van Dyke, Green Acres, and Lassie, lol!

Some habits just die hard. You can't take the hippie out of the 60's, but you take the 60's out of the hippie. I wonder who else is 'still smokin'?

I totally agree, anyways, it's too cute to be taken seriously... not to mention a lot of the people younger than her who get away with smoking it don't even know who she is!

But come to think of it. It'd be a pretty cool encentive to living to the senior years and living a respectable life. Once you hit 65 you can smoke pot if you want, gamble outside casinos, and get away with pety crimes. It's a bit out there, but I could live a world like that. Afterall, most people grow bored with with what they know they can get away with. Maybe noone will care to steal, gamble or smoke once they get the chance to legally?

Damn she looks happy and high in that pic. Get the woman some Doritos, stat!

The guy who played Gilligan was a total stoner. Maybe she hung out with Gilligan a bit too much? I'm sure there is a "Partnership for a Drug Free America" ad in there somewhere...something about ditching your pot smoking friends. I think Skipper should have partook. He was a total stress case.

One of these days someone is going to explain to me the endless fascination people have with "Gilligan's Island", a show that ran out of storyline after year one. Just get off the damn island!

It is a shock to realize how old some of these 60's sitcom stars are. Don Adams (aka Maxwell Smart) died I believe in 2006 or 2007 in his early 70's. A real surprise that he was that old. Then again I remember 1967 like it was yesterday.

From Mary Ann to Mary Jane.

As a kid, when the question was asked, "Ginger or Mary Ann?", I always wanted to answer "The Professor".

Shaggy, the guy that ate all the time and never gained an ounce from Scooby Doo was apparently modeled on Maynard Krebbs from "The Many Lives of Dobie Gillis", portrayed by none other than Bob Denver (Gilligan). We all know what Shaggy was doing when everyone else was chasing ghosts... yep, smoking doobies!
