Has that ever happened to anyone on here before? Last night in my dream, I met the perfect guy. I mean PERFECT. I don't think I've ever had a dream like that. Anyway, waking up today was pretty depressing. I've been thinking about the dream all day and can't shake it off my mind. Blah, why can't I meet someone like that in real life hahaha.

I once had a dream where two hot guys interwined their legs around me at both ends of my body and held me up like a human hammock. It was way way hot. icon_wink.gif

Not quite... However, I have had a few dreams of real guys I somewhat liked who weren't necessarily *perfect*, but in my dreams, I subconsciously perfected their imperfections. Sucks to wake up lol

Makes you want to induce yourself into a coma inception-style.

Ha... Pretty sweet thread. Hasn't happened to me, and hope it doesn't ever. I'd be crushed upon waking up.

But you can always think the dream was a crossover between alternative universes. The perfect guy may be just as crushed right now...

haha in your dreams, you're basically god. That's how you're different.

I know what you mean by how it feels real. I remember, I think two years ago, I had a dream of this guy I liked. It felt so real. When I woke up I was smiling... if it wasn't so early in the morning and if I wasn't so groggy and lazy, I would've punched myself hahaha.... disgusting but so good icon_razz.gif

Dreams are often a projection of ones desires and problems.

Yup, I've woken up a few times after seeing and feeling my closest friend / soulmate / lover in a dream...and after waking up I felt like they died because obviously I won't see them again. It's one of the most miserable feelings.

Yeah one time I literally met met the man of my dreams in real life. Took me until the second meeting even to talk to him. There were all kinds of weird coincidences, like his ATM PIN was my birthday, his first and middle names were the same as my father's. We tried dating. Ultimately though, it ended up being a nightmare.icon_confused.gif

I'll get coincidences like that all the time, with pretty much all the guys I meet, in fact most of the people I meet... sometimes they become lifelong friends, sometimes it just fall apart... but it doesnt mean anything.. I think its just how the universe functions.. through coincidences...

I once read in my biochemistry book that considering th number of inflammable substances (practically all) that are present in a living cell, and all the enzymatic reactions that take place... that the fact that the entire system never seems to chemically "explode" in one huge combustive reaction is nothing short of miraculous..

when you look at it like that, all of life itself is one huge never-ending coincidence

Ha! Well I'll tell you that you are just a princess Aurora aren't you lol. Romantics have rough times through stuff like this. Don't worry most dreams I have come true at some point or another but these lyrics are for you boy.

    I know you
I walked with you once upon a dream.
    I know you
The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
    Yes, I know it's true
that visions are seldom all they seem
But if I know you, I know what you'll do
    You'll love me at once
the way you did once upon a dream

I've definitely had this dream and its an ongoing one. Meaning its the same guy in the dream every time but the dream is always different. I have already had the dream where we met randomly and became friends that flirt a lot and then start dating. The last time I had this dream it was I guess years into the relationship. Its funny because I can never remember the guys face when I wake up.

Its usually a long period of time between the dreams but I think we have dreams like that because its kinda fulfilling our true desires when they have not been met yet.

lol yeah.. I get those dreams sometimes. You just gotta give your eyes a rub, take a deep breath, and wake up so you can get out there and meet him.

I could be a sign if it felt that real. Maybe in the dream you were looking at your higher self. Something you should strive to be.

I'm with you there, amar. Some of us see the coincidences/connections more than others. My advice to people meeting guys on the physical plane that they've seen in dreams is not to give it too much significance. It's ultimately just a recognition.

Now, tj if you really want to have fun with it, read up on lucid dreaming! You can play out all kinds of story lines in your dreams.
