...so what are you gonna do with your extra hour tonight, if your area reverts to "Standard" time from "Daylight Saving" Time?.....

I will either be having sex or sleeping......icon_cool.gif

I'll be asleep before midnight so I won't notice much. Thankfully all my time-telling devices I use will change automatically.

One extra hour of sleep documentation at work. Thanks for reminding me, FUCK.

This just means I have to deal with behaviors an hour earlier tomorrow morning and adjust all medication times.

I do not change time. So sleep will be the same with me. Now I can call my family an hour later than usual because they are now only 2 hours ahead of me instead of 3.

What does Arizonians think of this whole daylight savings time/standard time thing? Is it like the twilight zone?

OH MY GOD now it all makes sense. I SWEAR it was 1:55 when my friend texted me, and then I check the phone and it's 1:20 and I'm like OH MY GOD HE'S FROM THE FUCKING FUTURE!!!!!! But wait, nope. Anyway, I'm working at home on audio mixes. Extra hour is good for work.

I will be dealing with the over 30 running antique clocks throughout the house. icon_eek.gif
"Springing" ahead is the easy part. "Falling" back? Not so much. LOL!
    Cheers,

Yeah, I get tired of that as well. Don't have 30, but several grandfather clocks.
They have to be stopped and started.

I have this problem where regardless of what time I sleep I wake up at 6am. I slept at 2am and now it is 5:23am. so now i am awake an extra hour earlier than i want to be.

I got up in the middle of the night for other reasons, while I was at it changed the alarm clock and the watch I had on to standard time, then went back to sleep. Now I'll be changing the stove, the microwave, the kitchen wall clock, an antique brass carriage clock, and I think I'm done 'til next year.

    Everything else changes/resets automatically, fortunately.

Meh, Daylight savings?? What are we saving for and when can we use it?? The end of December and I'll be wanting to make a withdrawal to compensate for the 3.75 hours of daylight we get then. Daylight savings never made sense to me, especially growing up on the farm where the cows and horses had their own clocks to deal withicon_rolleyes.gif
