Fantastic news seems to be brewing out on the west coast this weekend.
It seems former speaker Nancy Pelosi will remain as leader of a stronger (more liberal) faction in the U.S. House of Representatives. She will continue to be the face of Democrats in Congress.

    Cheer guys!!

Report that moderate Dems oppose her, but hope she prevails!

I definitely support her for minority leader. She did an amazing job shepherding legislation through a firing line of Republican and Blue Dog obstructionism. Now the half the Blue Dogs have been sent packing, a much more progressive group of Dems will be able to block the worst excesses of the lunatics that were voted in. icon_lol.gif

Nancy Pelosi is a great leader. She cares about the rights of others. She has always stood up for the rights of the gay and lesbian community. She also strongly supports the rights of people to have healthcare, something every human being has the right too.

Interesting article in this week-end Wall Street Journal about how moderate Democrats are extremely upset with her intention. A very good editorial on the topic as well.

They continue to try to spin the issue being a message shortfall. This despite the bully pulpit of Obama who does a good job reading the teleprompter, and the major networks and newspapers who have continually been sympathetic to the Democrats.

If they, including Obama, try to maintain their spin, it will only be easier to give them another spanking in 2012.

A spanking is already set to happen in the Senate in 2012. Dems are going to be on defense big time in about 8 or 9 seats. Lots of red and purple state Senators are up for reelection. Really it wouldn't surprise me if Ben Nelson from Nebraska joins the GOP by the end of the year. Hes up in 2012 and he will be toast as a Democrat in Nebraska.

    More Obama/teleprompter bullshit.

Can't you guys find something ELSE to lie about for a while, or are you still waiting to hear what that something else might be from Limbaugh or O'Reilly?

Pelosi to Remain as Leader of the Liberal Caucus

Except, there is no such caucus. It's the House Democratic Caucus.

So now do we get to call the House Republican Caucus the "Right-Wing Caucus"? Just wondering... icon_wink.gif
