I met George Takei in person, along with his (legally married) husband Brad Altman. They truly are gay activists of whom we can be proud.

I'm not sure about the tone of this video clip, however. I've already expressed the hope that this McCance guy, who started this school board flap, can be salvaged. I'd rather that olive branches be extended to him, rather than this Takei video. So this really doesn't please me.

(Not that I'd deny the Clint guy a hug ... everyone need a little love, maybe he needs a little more. icon_confused.gif)

Two years ago, George was a contestant on the UK jungle challenge TV show (filmed in Australia) "I'm a Celebrity, Get me Out of Here!" It is a big show here in the UK and a pretty long and arduous challenge for the contestants. George displayed great character, wit and grace and won the show by telephone popularity votes.

Nice one George T- you have balls and you aren't afraid to brandish them. I'm really sick of all the wishy-washy, soft hearted, calm and docile complainig from gays and gay supporters, lets hear more of that tone displayed above directed at hateful and or homophobic douchebags who completely and utterly deserve it icon_cool.gif

    That is all.
