Do the writers think the viewers are stupid?

Susan is doing housewife porn. What happened to her career as a children's illustrator?

Bree has turned in to a frustrated man chaser. She used to be uber cool. Now she's chasing the local handyman?

Gabrielle has a tedious storyline about adopted children. What happened to the sexy guys?

Lynette is still the boring one. I guess somethings never change.

There don't seem to be male characters of any note. Even the gay guys have disappeared.

I only have seen the season premiere of this season and I was disappointed from the start. I suppose they have to start running out of ideas eventually

Bree's new beau, Brian Austin Green from 90210, isn't hot enough for ya?

Wow. I think he looks way better now than back in the 1990s!

This happens to every television series out there. The networks try to keep them up and running as long as they keep them out of the red.

    With that said...
    This bitch is annoying!

She is honestly getting way too much airtime for my taste.

hahaha. Thanks for the update. I actually stopped following it after 2 or 3 seasons (can't remember now), but mainly because my bf at the time played the last episode of the next season by accident and it kind of ruined the whole thing for me (I suddenly lost interest in it).

    Uhh, NO.
If this is their definition of a 'hot' guy, then the producers are getting desperate.

It's not as bad as season 2 but it's not as engaging as season 1.

Susan's housewife porn gig I thought was hilarious. Best part of the new season.

Bree's turn as the man-chaser instead of Gabrielle isn't working, though it's good to see BAG in this role.

Gabrielle's storyline isn't about adopted children. It's about her real daughter and the daughter she raised. I really think they could have taken this storyline to a whole different level, but didn't. Could have really given Eva a chance to show off her true acting chops. but it fizzled.

Lynette needs to take a long vacation from Wysteria Lane.

Vanessa Williams is not an engaging actress. She's just not believable as this character on this show. Maybe on UB it worked because of the over-the-top characters, but not here.

And the gays are still there. I just wish Tuc Watkins (Bob) would go shirtless soon!!

I have not really liked DH for a few years now. I watch it later in the week on my dvr if I have time. I think they miscalculated the loss of Edie. There has not been a character to fill her shoes. The whole Katherine goes crazy and then becomes a lesbian subplot of last year seemed desperate. They have never developed the gay couple. They are like throw in characters. Oh well, just my opinion!

Would agree with the comment about Vanessa Williams, she's just not likeable or even believable. In last night's episode she spent the whole time fighting with Bree only to turn round at the last minute and say, yes, have that man. There doesn't seem to be any story arc to this series. They need new writers or to put this show out its misery.

Story arcs for American television series vary from season to season- for Desperate Housewives each season brings about a new arc or mystery that centers around the new residents, with the main characters just carrying on their everyday lives as the mystery unfolds to the viewers.

-I've always wondered how he (Bob) would look like shirtless. He is sexy though.

At least they broadcasted an intense Bob/Lee kiss this season.

We still watch it and love it, but the Vanessa Williams character is not interesting, and Lynette needs to take a chill pill or a couple of strong shots. She's become a shrew. I guess Bree's becoming a loose woman/Manchaser is understandable; I went through that myself at 40.

Just have to give it time. The Halloween episode with Lee and vanessa both dressed as Marilyn. Last night, the possibility that Bob is trying to flip Carlos. Found it all hilarious.

Yes. I don't believe it is as good as it has been.

I'm curious to see where the Paul storyline is going. It seems as if they have nothing new to write about, so they had to bring back old characters to breathe life into it. I hope it gets better.

    And Bob's a Total Hottie!!
