What's an appropriate parting gift for a personal trainer?

So my trainer is going to move early next year, and I found out that he really doesn't get paid much (40% of $25 per session = $10!). Besides a cash card, what's a good parting gift for him? (I was thinking of anything <=$100)

An erotic photo shoot with both of you together, shot by a great photographer. icon_wink.gif

PS. That's what I'm gonna do with my trainer.

Cash. It is an especially welcome gift during these challenging economic times.

He did say that he would like to open his own gym/health center one of these days after getting his nutrition degree. Maybe I should offer to buy in when he gets to that point. icon_razz.gif

As the others have said, I also suggest cash. Obviously you appreciated and benefitted from the training. Along with the cash I suggest a card with words to that effect.

I don't know, cash would be a bit too cold for my liking - what about a voucher from amazon or itunes?

I know a lot of gyms don't pay shit, but that's horrible for a trainer! Give him a generous gift certificate for a store that he likes.

Just give him the $100. icon_biggrin.gif and as a bonus, a nice big fat juicy kiss on the smackers, or a card would do. icon_eek.gif

...a new gym bag/duffel, a protein drink shaker, and a cash card or a gas card and a nice card of thanks(and maybe an offer to take him to dinner?)....it is SO HARD to find a GOOD trainer that you like, and works you too! sorry for your loss....

Give him a hundred bucks in a card with the message that any good trainer charges way more than $25 an hour.
