Check out the full song here : http://breakingnews.michaeljackson.com

    What do you think ?

It's very MJesque, I like it. Gets me excited for the rest of the album icon_biggrin.gif

And the first line of the song made me thing of Britney's My prerogative...

"Everybody wanting a piece of Michael Jackson"

    VS

"Everybody's talking all this stuff around me"

Okay, there is this HUGE controversy about this song with his family saying that it's not MJ and it's an impersonator singing...and Sony has declined this. A huge percentage of his fan base think it's fake and I have NO idea what to believe honestly.

What do you guys think??? I'm really pissed cuz I was excited for new MJ music ughhh.

    P.S. Britney's My Prerogative >>>>>> Bobby Brown's imo.

Why would they need to get an impersonator when MJ clearly recorded tons of songs that were never released. If they were going to hire an impersonator they would have made songs that were relevant. This song is okay but you can tell it wasn't recorded that recently. It's out-dated.

Its not out-dated. This music has certain sound that is unique to jackson that sells, despite not being typical of the manufactured pop music thats out there today. Its what makes him so big.

I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't him. Shame though, id have like to see what music video he could have produced from it.

true that! His beats are very different and a certain kinda pop that other POPULAR artists on the current radio don't reproduce. I just hope it really is Michael singing and he's like 2Pac with thousands of unreleased tracks so we may have 10 more MJ albums over the years haha.

I heard the MJ song on the Today show earlier. It's ok. They clearly cleaned up/added to whatever vocal scratch track he'd left behind.

While Bobby and Britney have at times been equally fucked up, Bobby's original version of the song will always be superior to Britney's muddled and mumbled attempt at a remake. Too many effects on her vocals, not enough soul to the delivery, and the beats almost sound over dubbed.

Huge Michael Jackson fan here, but have mixed feelings about the new song. Perhaps it will take several listens, as many of his songs do, for the hook to grab me. It was just so-so on the first listen.

Run, you're a man after my own heart. Bobby has problems but back then.... Man! He was great.

I think some of it may be from old recordings, but I think there is someone else's voice in the mix as well.

By that, do you mean that 5 years from now, the sexy chorus of this song is gonna breakup, go solo, grow a 2-days beard and have real success, that the first verset is gonna go judge for America's Best Dance Crew, and the "Bass" line is gonna get out of the closet ?
