Who on earth is doing the voting? She's been on the BOTTOM of the judge's leaderboard nearly every week, but is now in the top four couples left. Looks like another republican/tea party coup. The girl has no finesse.

It's one of the only shows I watch now besides the national news. LOVE it!! Still missing Pam Anderson from last year.

This time Jennifer Grey all the way..I hope.

Bristol Palin is terrible on DWTS. Laughably bad. There must be a good number of wingnuts watching the show.

And those wingnuts are registered voters who are chiefly responsible for the results from last week.

Dismiss them and you dismiss our future.

I voted for Bristol last week because I thought she had her best dance yet!

This week I split my votes between Kyle and Bristol.

I can't stand Derek and his smugness so therefore Jen doesn't get my vote.

Brandy is good but I fear for her personal safety as it is obvious she envisions the Mirror Ball Trophy as the second coming of Christ!

America loves and underdog and believe it or not Bristol is the underdog. She is also the only one with no entertainment experience and has made the biggest strides from week 1 on. No way she compares to Jen/Brandy but you can see she really has blossomed personality wise. No right wing conspiracy here as I vote for Bristol the same reason I voted for Kelly O.

Dude, I've seen this show like twice. The two times I've seen it Bristol was TERRIBLE, she is stiff as a board and cant remember the simplest of moves.

She is the worst dancer ever! Im wondering who the hell is voting for her but then again probably everyone in Alaska is since they have nothing to do or watch over there icon_lol.gif! She should had been set home along time ago, everytime I watch her performance I cringe ans just stare at mark since he is doing all the work (and he is cute).

My lord, if she wins when you have people like Jennifer who is doing awesome at age 50, and of course Brandy, what does that say about the show? Hard work doesn't pay off. Bristol has barely improved. Her smiles are forced and sporadic. She's got that anti-sensual/conservative thing holding her back.....well, apparently it's not holding her back. icon_rolleyes.gif

Bristol is the worst dancer on the show. Maybe if we can get the power shut off in Alaska next week, she will be sent home.

I think that many people take this show too seriously, like Brandy. I am on another social board where there are tons of people voting for Bristol because:

    1. She is the underdog (Kyle also falls in this)
    2. They dislike the "ringers" winning each year (biggest ringer ever was Nicole)
    3. They enjoy the entertainment value of the show and like the drama Bristol staying would cause
    4. Similar to 3, they think it would be hilarious for Bristol to win and see a total meltdown by people on boards like this
    5. They see this show as one that is for non dancer who become dancers and improve week to week, kinda what it was the first two seasons.

None for who her parents are or political reasons.

I vote mainly for 1-4! By the next season I forget who even won the last and I doubt the judges beat themselves up over who lost. I can see Len now if Bristol won touting that while not the best dancer she epitomized what this show is about, taking non dancers and turning into dancers. She showed improvement each week..blah...blah...blah

Actually, this how I hope the judges and host will respond if Bristol wins:

Carrie Ann Inaba: "You have got to be fucking kidding me."

Len: "She showed grace, she showed improvement, she showed what happens when wingnut Americans have power."

Bruno: "You minx! You took that boring, conservative persona and turned it into a boring, conservative persona in a flashy dress."

The Host: "Maks, come pinch my ass."

Maks: "After all that hard work and ten seasons, I'm gettin' the fuck out of here."

    Excuse me, sir...
Im republican, fyi, but you gotta admit shes terrible, she needs to go home; We're not voting for who has the best blossoming personality, We're voting for the best DANCER.
Why is she there in the first place, shes not even a star!
I do suspect that the reason shes still there is because all of Alaska/the Palin fanatics are voting for her. And I dont see the point of the tea party showing support, theres no gain in making her win. Maybe because of Mark? I personally want to see him shirtless again...icon_twisted.gif
By the way, I think either Jennifer or Brandy will get the trophy.

So what you're saying is talent is utterly useless in a talent based competition?

    Great.

^^^^^^Nope because honestly I don't see this as a talent competition like American Idol or So You Think You Can Dance...it is entertainment/popularity competition!

Go to the site Dialidol.com and look at the phone votes they count each week for DWTS! Each week the stars with the biggest fanbase get the highest call in votes i.e popularity and so far Bristol and Brandy have been among the highest. In years past you see that big fan bases in audience voting do not equal high dance scores from the judges. The year Brooke won she was not always in the highest fan voting but the judging kept her in enough to where she was able to win.

Do not look at it this year solely as to why Bristol is in. I have been monitoring this site and show for seasons and have seen that it is the fanbase that keeps the mediocre dancers in the competition until the semis but notice the judges keep lowering the scores of the mediocre each week to counter the popularity of the fan voting. In this past week Kurt and Anna were the bottom of fan voting along with Kyle and Lacey and Bristol was second from highest. If the trend continues Kyle will be out next with a tough fight between Bristol and Jen depending on judges scores.

Not sure why I felt like going into this long explanation but I have had a couple glasses of wine and time on my hand. Enjoy

*waits for massive Boardicide if Bristol makes it to the finals*

And no I don't she is terrible at all...Kenny Mane, Master P, the Microsoft guy, Maraget Cho...terrible

The judges are not ones to hold their tongue and they all agree she has good technique but lacks entertainment and musicality. I don't remember them saying that about any of the other "terrible" dancers.

And before I get flamed I actually want Kyle or Brandy to win because I like them and their partners. Sometimes I vote for the dancer over the celebrity. I will state again, this show is in no comparison to A.I. or SYTYCD. It is entertainment from the second season on. The first season was the only one where it was truly about finding the best "fish out of water."

DWTS knows how to entertain an audience unlike other reality competitions ... cough SYTYCD cough ... which takes themselves too seriously.

Bristol has been the worst remaining dancer for a few weeks now, but I don't think there is a need to wade into politics over her dancing. It's just an entertainment show. I don't think there are any obvious ringers this season either. I don't think any of the dancers have been phenomenal from day 1 like Nicole Scherzinger or Kristi Yamaguchi were. There have been a lot more spats with the judges though e.g. Michael Bolton vs Bruno, Maks vs Carrie Ann.

I do America a favor by not watching this show. That time is better spent patching our broken roadways, bridges, on-ramps and dams. That's right, I've got my fingers in some dikes. For America.

I read that more conservatives/republicans watch shows like these than democrats/liberals watch shows like Dexter SFU and anything else with real substance.

Jesus f*cking christ! Sorry to spoil, but the bottom two were Brandy and Bristol, and BRANDY got voted off. It is so sad to see such talented people who are truly gifted being voted off by dumb-ass conservative Palin followers.

Bristol Palin should feel ashamed. She does not deserve to be in the top three. Not at all. It's all due to her mother.
