Did not and will not vote for him.

I could form a list of perhaps 100 people with little thought who have come forward since that day in 2008 and said, "I voted for Oabama but it was a mistake." "I will not make that mistake again."

Same experience. In fact, almost all the people I know who voted for him are deeply embarrassed that they did so.

    Not me.

Given the same choice, I'd vote Obama/Biden again in a heartbeat.

McCain is a traitorous windsock, and Palin is a maniac.

    Strange, socal. icon_biggrin.gif

My experience is that the all the people I know who voted for him still would do so.

In fact, what people hereabouts are most embarrassed about is that the man has been in office not even two years, and had predicted it would take at two years for any economic recovery to be evidenced...yet the conservative naysayers, second-guessers and tea-party wackos want to hold him to a higher standard of returns-on-investment than he himself promised...and to which Bush was never held.

The fact that these people have made inroads into the government again is a national embarrassment.

...with your RJ moniker, would we expect anything different?

Most of us don't self-identify with a political philosophy as an avatar label. It's fine that you do....but that suggests to me that such a person is wrapped in ideology as the main way they define themselves.

If so, why would we take your view on Obama and the view of your friends and acquaintances (who are liable to be like-minded) as anything but the preacher preaching to the choir?

Yes, but we have an American vote, and we voted no to Obama.

I wish he'd done a LOT of things differently.
But, I'm sure the Republicans will put up somebody 1000 times worse.
    They always do.
And, no, I'm not sorry I voted for him.

I DO think that, if Hillary gave him another challenge, she might very well win.

You are right I am. "acting in the conservative sprite" not sure about that, as my sexuality does not define me as a whole, nor does it dictate my politics. I am not the kind of homosexual who would of voted in Hitler, with a promise of advancement as a homosexual, as it seems so many homosexuals of America voted for Obama, and like after the Night of the Long Knives the homosexuals of Germany must of felt let down, as it now seems many who voted for Obama now feel. But we did not vote for Obama we voted for the better of America, and not our personal wants.

    As a homosexual, I am already = !icon_cool.gif

That's laughable. You do live in Oakland, California. I'm sure California will vote for Obama in 2012. Fortunately, California does not single handedly elect presidents.

Maybe in you mind thought. But when I vote, I put my country first, and yours 2. I don't vote for personal wants, we are also not the kind of homosexuals who like to play the victims, nor would we fight to get a man like Hitler into power, just because he gave us a false promise of advancement; now we are talking dumb. How many homosexuals of America voted for a mixed race person thinking he would give them what they want; how many of them now feel dumb; but you can't take back your vote the damage is done.

It not what America can do for you!

But.......what you can do for America.

Yes we voted against Obama before it was cool to do so.icon_cool.gif
