so, i think i've narrowed down my cellphone options (i'm eligible for an upgrade, and my phone is on its last legs) to these i've seen:

    Motorola Razr V3xx
    Sony w580i
    LG Shine

anyone have these phones? which should i consider? any advice is always appreciated. and maybe i'll throw in a hug or a kiss in return, LOL icon_lol.gif

I had the RAZR as well and texting was a pain in the ass. The RIZR has a smaller key pad, but if you can get past that the predictive text is the best I've ever used. I know it should be the same software, but my RAZR's predictive text sucked ass and it didn't learn words very well.

I recently got the V3xx. Its a good phone. i dont use the video or any of that. Texting is the same as the other razrs out there. Sound quality is great. Its a bit heavy though and the battery life sucks. So if you talk alot, plan on charging it all the time.

I previously had a Razor which I liked and I thought the texting was fine. I now have an LG8600 and I don't think it is as user friendly and a pain in the ass when texting.

awesome, you guys rock. i'm keeping your feedback in mind. i have smaller fingers, so, i will try to see if the RAZR's texting will still pose a problem, for now, i'm still leaning toward the LG Shine
