12 or 13...I got on the jolly path to manhood pretty early. Blade.

edit- Oh yeah! I would use my brother's razor because I didn't have one and he'd get mad. I just remembered that.

I shaved off one eyebrow when I was like 6. Just one. And then I put after shave on it. I felt so grown up.

I shaved when I was 15, with my father's razor. I was proud (and happy to get rid off that soft moustache)

My first shave was at 20

I was in basic and I didn't even have facial hair. First night there 2 guys in charge of inprocessing us told me everybody had to shave regardless. They walked me into the latrine and watched me. I told them I never had watched someone shave. They started to yell and I freaked and cut my face in a couple of spots. I bled so much it looked like a scene from Carrie. They rushed me to the clinic bc they were terrified. The best part was they didn't make me shave for a couple of weeks.

I was 11 when I first starting shaving my stache. I have always been a pure razor, can't use electric as it gives me hives. I have tree-bark as facial hair.

Only tale is that, as a kid, I thought I was successful at sneaking uses of my dad's razor until I was 12 when my dad just got me one and said, "Stop using mine, it was nice when you were 11 but now you too old [sic]".

Razor...don't remember the age...it was more of a chore than a pleasure.
I still hate shaving, but do it only to look "professional" and shit at work.

Ô, dear Amar ! Stop it with your misqueming tortiloquy, you're just pudifying me with your sevidical words. I knew about "mowing" the lawn, I was just playing with words and languages ! You really think I was that dumb ? Traboccantly insulting. My english might be a cacozealous prescited rendition of yours, but still, I'm doing my best ! I totally ejurate to fight with you, and I'd like our relation to get back to a pacifical antipelargy.

Shave? I didn't start til I was about 22ish. Now, at 35, I can grow a full mustache, but anything around my jawline comes in like Shaggy from "Scooby Doo". It's weird, as my dad had a full beard in his teens (but I thank heaven that I don't take after him as he went bald in his 20's too). I guess being a half breed has some perks.

Oh, and it was with a razor.

There's a picture of me shaving with my dad when I was 4 or 5..... no blade in my razor, and the front of my long-sleve t-shirt was covered in shaving cream, but we're both laughing our asses off. One good memory...

But it didn't become the real thing until I was in high school.

I first had to shave when I was 14 since I did swimming. I was never real hairy but still had to do it. When I was 16 I did Tahitian dancing and we were provided with the most painful waxing i've ever had. As of right now I use wax, electric shaver, and even razor. It all depends how soft I have to be and my time available =)

When I was 12 or 13 my older brother bought me a pack of disposable razors and told me to hold on to them because I'd be needing them soon. He told me when the time came for me to shave he didn't want me borrowing his razors. I used to watch him shave so I pretty much knew what to do. Everybody should have a great older brother like I do.

I was about fifteen when I received an electric razor as a Christmas gift, I think. Used an electric razor until moving into the dorms and then started using a manual. Man, I nicked myself bad the first few times! Once I was used to the manual, though, I never went back to the electric.
