Would you rather be with a smart guy who's rarely funny, a funny guy who can never be smart, or a smart & funny guy who unintentionally makes you feel like you're not good enough for him? Pick one.

I would prefer to be with a funny guy and want to experience those little moments in life when you need mostly a heart to live a love life.

and on the other option i guess, they can never be happy nor keep there partner happy as they always crave for better, being better and keep only better around them. They can never life full.

The smart and funny guy wins, however, I'll make sure I am good enough for him.

I'll take the smart and funny guy. Even he though he may UNINTENTIONALLY make me feel like I'm "not good enough for him", I'm confident enough to overlook it and enjoy him as he is!

"a funny guy who can never be smart" ? I'm not sure such a person exists.
In my book being (truly) funny implies some kind of smarts.

of course there's being involuntarily funny (laughable) and being a clown which is slightly different (and gets boring fast).

so I'll go for someone who's funny by my own definition.

This may be part of the "feel like you're not good enough for him" when the guy is both smart and funny.
So, addendum, start by assuming you think fart jokes are really funny...

In any case, I think I'd always go for the person I admired most. I want a partner who will drive me to be better (even, perhaps alway in part, involuntarily).

I started out as one of the first two, then acquired the ability to be the "smart & funny guy". And, it appears that others unintentionally feel "less than", that I am "intimidating", "hard to approach", or other negative, unintended outcomes.

It's not my fault, but it is my problem. So, now I'm working on being the "smart, funny, and sensitive guy".

Definitely the "smart & funny guy who unintentionally makes you feel like you're not good enough for him." Keyword here is 'unintentionally," so it's just my insecurity to get over, which is better than being bored with a smart guy who gets dull after a while or annoyed with the funny guy who turns everything into a joke. Smart+funny guys are a challenge to keep up with, and I like a little cat-and-mouse in a relationship.

    ^^^that one
I can always become smarter to match or exceed his smartness; but I refuse to get stupider to match a stupider person's stupidity. Plus it really sucks when you have to explain all your jokes.

Getting back on topic(these are the only types that are available): I'll take the smart guy any day. My experience has shown that they always surprise me when they have moments of humor.
