Frankly, I'm shocked a modern-day movie hasn't been made yet.

Yeah I don't know how she didn't get dizzy doing that. It was a bit corny her always spinning but it was catchy.

I read somewhere they were still trying to cast for it.. And actually "Beyonce" was one of the people trying to go up for the part. Hence the shit storm from the comic fans that insued after they heard about it.

Personally i'd rather them not make a movie on wonderwoman. Everytime they've done a movie on a super hero it's been a complete let down

I'm a little surprised her spin-transformation wasn't discovered, what with all the rampant flutists following her around and that mild explosion.

Linda Carter is so gorgeous she'd be impossible to replace as WW. And BTW, I thought you guys might like this clip. Linda is stunning in the one-piece and you got to love the dramatic music. TWIRL!

Haha. Love it. Never knew they had the Stars and Stripes in Ancient Greece though. You live and you learn!

And I'd swear that jingle they play as she spins is almost identical the the Six Million Dollar Man theme, just as he starts to accelerate!

WHAT?! She was given the outfit because she was going to be working undercover in the US and the jingle sounds nothing like the SMDM although that was a good show too icon_smile.gif

They offer spin classes at my gym, but I've never attended. Where the heck would I get the outfit?

I am not familiar with the plot line. The opening scene looks like it is trying to depict Ancient Greece.
I mean, I know it's really Aaron Spelling's back yard or something, but where is it supposed to be set?

Incidentally, the producers were trying to figure out a way to show how Diana Prince became Wonder Woman, and Carter came up with the spinning move, which was incorporated into the show. I wonder if she gets a royalty for every spin.

As for the first few notes of Linda's spin cycle (the slightly down-tempo one), compare them with this, starting at 00:14:

David E Kelly is working on a new Wonder Woman tv series.

Hopefully they don't use her new costume, it's heinous.

Linda Carter IS Wonder Woman...I can't think of anyone else who could play the role.

    PS-Notice Superman didn't "return" for a sequel?
