Recent my friend snapped my back....The results have shown that shoulder and back have improved again and there is strong V shape going on...What kinda bugs me is that I already have a tiny 29 waist....So I feel that I kinda look like a cartoon....What exercises would help me increase my obliques/increase my waist size.... I'm 5'9 in height.

    That exercise is called eating.icon_twisted.gif

But seriously, at the gym I use this twister machine that you use to rotate your trunk.

    Pull Ups.

Just pull up to the table and eat lots of veggies and some potatoes. Drink a glass of milk once in a while and be sure to eat three meals a day. Don't overeat, just eat well.

I am told the groups you are talking about actully increase fairly easily with moderate exercise, so a lot of routines do not emphasize them. Any experts know?

Isn't it good to have a small waist so you don't have to work as hard to get a V-shaped upper body?? I don't know cos I'm not into bodybuilding, but that's what my logic would dictacte...

You need to broaden your shoulders and back by doing some serious upper body work in order to achieve the shape you want. I was also born with what my mother calls a neat waist line and my upper body at 15 years old was no where the size it is today. I had to work out and eat alot to gain some muscle on the upper body to achieve the desired V shape. You can do the same.

Dumbbell side bends would work your obliques and indirectly increase the mass on your sides.

LOL Why I would love to eat the waffles....Along with the bunny...Cooked rabbit is supposed to be tender and sweet!icon_twisted.gif

I eat pretty healthy despite my twink looking appearance...Would you believe me if I told you I was 27......

My waist size hasn't changed since puberty...

I have a pretty prominent V going on cause I do a lot upper body work out...The side dumb bells could do the trick... I'll post a pic of it but I'm kinda embarrassed by it....
