so i came out to my father today, i was pleased to remember why it is i love him so, not only was he understanding but supportive, and saying "as long as your happy son that's all that matters."

Hes a vet and a hard ass but considering the hard times hes gone through and 5 marriage's he understood my disposition.

and now i owe my boyfriend five bucks.

i do on the other hand feel bad for those that dont have such a easy time, personally if i had told my father and he had become irate or such i might have felt morose.

so for those out there yet to do so, i do admit it feels good to let it out, but to have gotten a ill response would have hurt greatly

Your dad is fucking awesome. Its funny my dad said the saaaame thing "as long as ur happy son" to me too and that made me almost cry, cuz I was expecting such a backlash.

    Congrats!

That's great news. Good for you. The two of you will probably be even closer now.

Glad it went so well for you, but I have to ask...

Would someone who's been married 5 times even WANT his son to be straight?

    Aw that's cute. Congratulations!

Did you come out for a bet? That's what I did with my friend, she dared me to come out to my friends, so that night I did lol icon_lol.gif But I never got any money for it though; I don't think I lost out.
