That sketch where Kenan played the wheelchair-bound kid with the broken knee was probably the worst, most unfunny sketch I've ever seen on SNL.

I can't find it any more; but somebody had posted a clip of Scarlette Johansson's parody of "My Super Sweet 16" from the first time she hosted SNL - it was one of the funniest skits I had ever seen.

Kenan's characters tend to be hit or miss for me -- I really only like his Virginiaca character, followed by his Deep House Dish sketches.

I didn't care for it either. I'll just watch old clips of Kristen Wiig till the next time.

last week's episode was one of, if not the, worst episode of this lacking season.

i've stopped recording this show; just skim thru it on hulu.

(just another sign of "not being 29 anymore" is when i don't know who the guest host OR the musical "talent" is on SNL) icon_lol.gif

Okay, the "My Super Sweet 16" sketch was funny, I agree. Especially the part with the "Cribs" episode--- "Okay, here it is." Hahaha

Ah, Kristen Wiig. The only saving grace on the show right now (especially since Will Forte is gone).

The first "Surprise Party Sue" sketch they did is one of the funniest sketches I've ever seen on SNL. But the subsequent SPS sketches kind of fell flat, unfortunately. Still, I love me some Wiig.

Kenan's Reba McIntyre is pure genius but something tells me he doesn't even get it. It has the potential to be so f'ing bizarre.
I think the talents of that new guy, Pharoah are either being wasted or he is a one-note wonder. Haven't decided.
Is it safe to say we are over Seth Meyers?

I was never under him. He's always rubbed me the wrong way.

I forgot Kenan's Reba! That was definitely an awesome Digital Short!

Have to disagree though -- I love me some Seth Meyers! It's too bad that ever since he became SNL's Head Writer the only times he appears in front of the camera are Weekend Updates...

Actually I was referring to the first time she ever hosted SNL -- the skit was from back in 2006. I've been searching for the clip online but haven't been able to find it. icon_sad.gif

oh god I had forgotten that will forte left.

they tried doing a Gilley sketch without him when jane lynch was on, and it just wasn't the same without him going "Gilllleeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy..."
