US Chamber of Commerce President Tom Donohue takes victory lap, warns of Obama regulatory 'tide'
“We spoke about the dangers of a bigger, more intrusive government, about the essential role of free enterprise to the American Dream and about the overriding challenge of creating 20 million jobs over the next 10 years,” Donohue said Wednesday. “The American people responded in a historic way.”
Donohue also called on Congress to extend all of the Bush tax cuts and expiring business provisions in the lame-duck session. Donohue did not specify whether the extension should be permanent or for a matter of years.
