I believe the only good one is Krave since its a tourist club. There are other bars and clubs that locals goto but I heard they suck.

5ebastian saiddoes it have to be gay?

Id recommend checking out Tryst (sp?) Excess (sp?) at Wynn, Mix at THE hotel.. and watch some shows such as Zumanity and Kai.. Lion King is over-rated.

Well I'm gonna be there with my cousin and her friends for her 21st. So we will be doing PLENTY of straight bars/clubs. I was just wanting to get away for a couple of hours while we're there to mingle.

I went to Vegas last November and loved it. I was surprised, however, that the "gay" clubs like Krave weren't all that compared to ones in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale or even Tampa. I'd recommend going to the mixed nights at the casino night clubs instead. I hear LAX at Luxor is good but I didn't make it during the last trip. Also, I really liked the Cirque show, Zumanity, which features a drag queen and gay performers.

I'm not a fan of Krave. Being on the strip, Krave draws in a big portion of straight couples and groups of women. IMO it throws off the energy of the club. It just doesn't feel like a gay club to me.

Last time I went to Vegas I checked Pirahna out. I really liked this club, a lot better than Gypsy. The front of the club is a hiphop club and at first I thought I'd stumbled into the wrong place, but if you head towards the back there's more of a dance club. It's small but the energy is great. Pirahna and Gypsy are in the area of town that they call the Fruit Loop. It's south of the strip so you'll have to take a cab there.

There are a number of new gay parties that have opened up, but I don't know how they are and haven't seen any reviews. I think one is at Mandalay on Saturday's.

In terms of shows, I can't recommend La Reve enough. It's at the Wynn and while it's not a Cirque du Soleil show, it's very Cirque du Soleil-ish. It's done in this stadium like theater with a huge pool in the middle. There's an amazing stage that lowers itself up and down in the water. Lots of aerial acrobatics and diving and swimming. And TONS of very hot guys in very little cloths diving and swimming and doing crazy gymanstics. It's not gay but very homoerotic. There's one part with two muscley wrestler types that was very hot.

I did not like Zumanity. While it has gay themes, I feel like it's as gay themed as the Frank Marino and the other "female impersonator" shows that they have all over Vegas. That is to say it's drag for the midwest straight crowd.

Krave has a special, not sure if they are still running it but I would assume they are as the last three times I was there they had $100 bottle service on sunday nights which for vegas is Awesome!!! its a perfect thing to do especially for a birthday party.. although the club isnt crazy busy on sunday nights its still the cheapest way to go to still get the vegas bottle service experience without the crazy prices...

Krave is good if you want a large club with room to dance, and a party atmosphere.

Pirahna/8 1/2 is a hangout for the latinos and plays good hip-hop and dance, it's a nice place, but mostly too small (and I mean small) for my taste.. however, that being said, it is still a great place.

Secret is a new club I haven't been to yet, but most of the "who's who" of the Vegas gay scene seem to frequent it and rave about it.

Revolution at the Mirage is gay on Sundays and is always rockin'. I recommend checking it out if you can.

Charlie's is a gay cowboy bar off the strip that has a good beer bust on Sunday afternoons, also a hootin' hollerin' good time. Head here around 4-5ish before Revolution.

Fun Hog Ranch... I really have no idea... I've heard about it, and lots of people I know have a good time, but I never had the desire to go.

There's also a bathouse... I think it's called Entourage now, if that's up your alley...

Hope that helps. Have fun, I know I always did!
