Never too early to listen to Christmas music.

I've been doing it since November 01.

It would be easier to state the songs I can't stand

    1. Blue Christmas - hate it hate it hate it

    2. Feliz Navidad- hate it, hate it, hate it

Staying on the Mariah team. Me likey this one:

The only person who should be allowed to sing this song is Eartha!!
Madonna should be ashamed of her version. She sounds like Betty Boop on crack!
Britney's version is at least tolerable...as is Taylor Swift's.

    O holy night
    Step into Christmas
    Let them know its Christmas
    This is Christmas

The list keeps going but please no Chipmunks Christmas, Domininck the Donkey or that God awful 12 days of Christmas crap!!
But an occasional Grandma got run over by a reindeer or barking dogs doing jingle bells is ok icon_wink.gif

I'm going a bit off the cuff, cause many 'classics' annoy me do to overplaying

    Ron Sexsmith- maybe this christmas

    - the gossip girl thing is the only video with the song that i could find

    sufjan stevens - sister winter

Some Classics (that don't annoy me)

The pogues - fairy tale of newyork

    Baby its cold outside

Love Xmas songs but like the traditional stuff...basically not too many classics after the mid 80s, in fact most is overproduced crap and garbage I think the Carrie Underwood song from a few years back is good

Favorite of all time is Christmas Wrapping by the Waitress which is somewhat modern since it came out in the early 80s. Close behind is the Kinks' "Father Christmas"

    The more modern type stuff..

    David Bowie/Bing Crosby....Little Drummer Boy
Carpenters...any of their X Mas songs
John Lennon/Yoko Ono...So This is Christmas (not sure if thats the right name)
    Christmas In Hollis...Run DMC
Wonderful X Mas Time...Paul Mc Cartney
    Last Christmas...Wham
Do They Know Its Chrismas...Band Aid
I Believe in Father Christmas...Greg Lake

    The more traditional song....
    Its the Holiday Season
    My Favorite Things
Most Wonderful Time of the Year
    Hark the Herald Angels Sing
    O Holy Night
    Run Run Rudolph

    "Happy Xmas (War is Over)"

I always love "Christmas Time is Here" from Charlie Brown's Christmas. I prefer the instrumental version

No, remember when? The original from the 80's by The Waitresses. Far superior.

Sufjan Steven's christmas albums are golden.

John Lennon's Merry Xmas (War is Over) is a classic, as well as Elvis' Blue Chrismas.

I also like Celine Dion's rendition of Merry Xmas (War is Over)

And a classic of my childhood :
