Some Republican mandate--less than half knew the Republicans won the House.
Is it a reflection of this country's trend towards navel gazing? The knowledge gap between young and old is worrisome.

Or is Google going to take over the world?icon_twisted.gif

And this guy thinks that those elected on election day immediately take their newly elected seats:

Webster666 saidElection Day was SEVENTEEN DAYS AGO.
Why hasn't the Republican House of Representatives fixed the economy ???????????????

Get real SB. You know as well as the rest of us that Webster knows they don't take their seat the day after the election. It was just a sarcastic quip towards Republicans who were saying that same thing just days and weeks after Obama took office.

According to the table the official rate of inflation in America is 1%. In the UK it's more like 5-7%. That's going to be the real problem.

Yeah, I can believe it. Most people I know can't find Afghanistan on a map. I imagine I totally blow their minds when I start talking about the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee and NATO icon_neutral.gif

As for TARP... they probably think a hurricane is coming icon_sad.gif

There are so many affairs in this country (you know, homophobes seen with escorts, homophobes in bathrooms, homophobes....) how the hell can we have time to also know about foreign affairs?
