Okay, so I've been lying around in bed for the last 5 days, sick with the flu, trying to keep up with school work but watching lots of downloaded TV and movies on my laptop instead (I'm addicted to "The Walking Dead" and "In Treatment", btw). I come on here to check my mail and lo and behold, I get this email from a guy from seancody.com asking me if I'm interested in working for them. He tells me they would fly me out to San Diego and put me up for 2 days in a hotel. I would do a solo for $1900 and then a BJ scene and an anal scene for much more (up to $5000 per). I told my BF about it and at first he laughed it off, and then he kinda got turned on by the idea. I really have no intention of accepting this offer, mainly because I wouldn't want something silly like this to screw up my career ambitions in Engineering. But it got me thinking: do short-term porn stints really screw up people's careers? Have any of you been approached? Have any of you done online porn? I guess I always associated guys who do porn with escorts and dancers. But it seems thousands of guys do it every month all over the world, and they can't ALL be escorts. Some of them must be just regular guys who did it as a lark. Again, I'm not asking for advice: I"ve made up my mind. But I'm curious to hear any stories guys might have.

The closest thing i got to this was a guy offered me 200 euro to sleep with him, he was a business man, - I didn't accept but got talking to him, he just wanted occasional sex without any hassle as he spent most of his time away.He was alright looking as well so I don't know why he'd have to pay. Plus I thought 200 was a bit cheap, I'd be a high class hooker or no hooker at all icon_smile.gif

Can't say I'd do any porn work but then again I've never been asked. It's always nice to get an offer, I can see why they approached you.

Well, I'd like to say I receive many offers and turn them all down, but no offers for me.

The real problem is whatever exposure you get on the internet, there are two givens. First, consider anything permanent - e.g. google cacheing. Second, assume any employer, large or small, will see it.

I've read that many companies routinely look at the social networking sites when considering job applicants. I read that exposure, well short of pornographic, can cause issues. Suppose an applicant for a responsible position is trying to look dignified, yet on Facebook or MySpace there is a pic of them drunk during spring break, making a fool of themselves, but having fun. They said it could be an issue, especially for competitive positions.

I stripped long before, theres nothing to prove it, no vids running free on the web. Also I didnt have to engage intercourse with anyone to make money just dance naked. So theres a major difference between being a stripper and being a porn star. Anyway, that was in the past and Im not worried about it.

new job, boyfriend...most strippers I met at the bar are no longer working either, a lot of people take it as a temporary thing...at least in Montreal.

Before agreeing to anything with Sean Cody, you might wanna read what Devon Hunter (aka: dancerjack) wrote.
    It's not pretty.

The problem isn't the sex ......
The problem is that once you put your image on camera
you no longer have any control over where it's seen and who sees it

Do some employers not hire or fire people for things like this? Yeah they do
and not always for homophobic reasons
They do the same with women too
There are sometimes moral clauses in contracts that you sign
    or embedded in HR documents
So while it might sound hot to try ........... best to keep it as a fantasy

You're right: Look pretty and bored jacking off by the pool. Then look pretty and bored jacking off in the shower. Then FINALLY, look pretty and bored in bed. Maybe I'll give them a call instead.

I entertained the idea at one point but then thought because not only did I not want that stuff going around forever. So instead I started traveling around go-go dancing in different cities which I love doing. I don't have to get nekid and can have fun traveling and meeting new people. Plus it pays sometimes more than the porn!

The one time I went at stock the dancers always seemed to hate the fact they were there lol but i guess its good if they didnt make you go in the isoloir at campus...it was a traumatising experience for me to see this lil 16 years old guy going there with one of the dancers, and Im not easy to shock.

But back on the subject,I still cant believe they pay only 5000$ per scene.
I dont really understand why someone would do it for a couple of thousands...
