The past years my partner and I have hosted what we lovingly call "Geekfest" on Thanksgiving weekend and we're doing it again tomorrow and Sunday. Most of the crowd is gay and new people are welcomed so I wanted to extend an open invitation.

Popular games include Settlers of Catan, Illuminati, Carcassone, Werewolf, Plague & Pestilence, Munchkin and (though we've been de-emphasizing computer games) Starcraft. I'm sure there'll be some Wii/Xbox gaming, too.

Drop me an email if interested and I'll get you the full details!

I've not played those games, but I'd be interested in joining you guys on Sunday. Are newbies allowed?

newbies? I'd say "fresh meat" is always welcome, but that could have the wrong connotation on some gay sites.

Dan, this is coming up Sat night and Sunday day... so wipe away yesterday's blahs and come down and join us.

You sound hungry. Go eat something.

Maybe we should form a 'Put Southbeach on Ignore Day'... seriously. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he might actually say something positive over the past year but NOPE!

Amazing with that much toxicity you haven't poisoned your own health, but no more for me! <3

And excellent idea caesarea! I should do something like this with my friends..got a ton of old ass board games like Stratego, Scrabble, etc..

Wow, I don't think I played Stratego since one of my first dates with Matt a long time ago.

A good time was had by all, with a strong showing by "Cosmic Encounters".

We're thinking about not waiting until next Thanksgiving, holding a "Winter Geekfest" maybe in February or March.

If you missed this one... you can still redeem yourself!

So bummed I missed this one! I was recovering from my birthday celebration at The Bang! (at the Blind Pig last night).

We'll be doing a pot-luck dinner (good way to get rid of some of your left-overs) and movie night tonight.

Geekfest per se won't start until Saturday night (due to the UM-OSU football game).

Drop me an email if you're in the area and interested.
