Problems with RJ in Chrome

So just today I started having problems with the RJ front page when I use Chrome. Instead of the standard front page, I get a list of text and a couple images aligned to the left side of the page. The front page is the only one I've found that has this problem - I can view profiles and the forums fine. It was going on for a while (and is still happening) so I tried pulling it up in Firefox, and no problems! I'm using the latest version of Chrome (7.0.517.44) on Windows XP. Anyone else have these problems?

I sometimes get that page appearance when I'm experiencing slow connection speeds. I don't understand the technical aspects, but the Safari browser that I use gives me a text-based home page when connection speeds drop.

The home page is the most image-rich and requires the fastest download capability, whereas other RJ pages are less image-intensive, mostly comprised of text. Therefore, it may have less to do with Chrome and more to do with your connection speed and ISP.

I've had this sort of thing happen in the past, but it always fixed itself when I refresh the page. It's never lasted for hours like this. And it still seems strange that it works in Firefox (and IE7 for that matter). Oh well, hopefully it'll fix itself soon.

Maybe just some kind of glitch unique to you. I had a problem with Chrome on YouTube. When I am entering something in search, it doesn't provide any suggestions. I checked the different search engines and places like Amazon and Ebay and was getting suggestions in search in those places, so it was just on YouTube that I experienced the glitch. I really miss the search suggestions. Doesn't seem like a really big deal since it is only one site, but I am on YouTube everyday and so I stopped using Chrome and went back to Firefox.

Fixed it! I discovered that the 'Incognito' version worked, but not the normal one. I tried clearing the browsing data for the past day, and that did it! It must have cached the page when I had a slightly slow connection.
