This is like the 3rd thread involving limewire :S
Okay, lets see. Since torrents are too complicated for you then i suggest 4shared.com

    +1

2ndly, I'm surprised people still use peer to peer programs like Lime wire.

If you like downloading song for song I don't really have any suggestions.

What I do when I find an artist I like is go to www.last.fm , search the artist and check what the top albums are... Then I go to google and type "artist name" + "album name" + either "filespump" or "filestube" .... you then get download links for the whole album and in the format of a zip... That's just me though. I don't like torrents because sometimes the seeders/peers are too low and it takes foreva! lol

I'm with the above poster. Would you like it if your value as a talented person was stolen?

Frostwire works just the same as Limewire did.

probably not, but i guess its their bad luck for not trying just a lil harder in school...give me a real artist who writes their own lyrics, isn't rapping or whore-ing it out - then ill maybe throw em a buck.

I tried utorrent and pirate bay for a little while and didn't really like them. I just downloaded Vuze the other day and love it, so I recommend that.

torrentz.com, torrentz.com, torrentz.com!!! it will search through multiple torrent sites. stopped using things like limewire years ago. get on the torrent train, or start buying your music. i don't really see any other option.

Play by the rules.... Buy your music. Try some integrity on for size. If you can't afford as much as you used to steal, tough.

I used to use Shareaza.com (AND LOVED IT) but in one of it's updates it changed it's style and looks like bearshare now and I don't like it. But those two may be available.

    http://www.informationisbeautiful.net/2010/how-much-do-music-artists-earn-online/

The people you're buying your music from is making more than the artists. Who's stealing whose value?
If you think you're helping artists by paying for services such as Rhapsody, you're being delusional. If you're not going to concerts and buying the band's merchandise, you have no right to bitch at those of us who download music.

I also want to say something about "illegally" downloading music. I agree with what a lot of people have said about where the money actually goes. Musicians on big labels really don't make that much money from album sales. I think I'd go with the idea that if it is a smaller band selling albums themselves or on a small label, then yes I'll buy it. But also, you just have to accept that times are changing and musicians have to make money in different ways now. What about visual artists, who have never made money from every person enjoying their talent? They have to find patrons, or galleries where their work is likely to sell, but for the most part their work is created for their personal expression and the enjoyment of others, not profit.

I have to say I really love this blog. I've probably downloaded about 450 songs in the past 3 days from it.
