Missed connection... on the highway.

This has never happened to me before, so I got a kick out of it and thought I'd share.

I was on the highway (either in RI or MA, can't remember) headed to Thanksgiving and I notice that a guy who is passing me on the left is looking over at me. I drive a pretty old truck, so I usually default to "something is falling off/ has fallen off of my truck" when I see someone staring. As he passes me, I raise my eye-brows to say "What's up?" and he mimics the expression.

He pulls ahead of me, moves into my lane, then goes to the lane to my right and I can tell he's keeping an eye on me in his mirror. He slows down and I give him a curious smile as he drops behind me (mostly because my dirty, arrogant imagination has already come to "maybe he's trying to pick me up"), so he speeds up to be next to me again and licks his lips at me! He drops back and then pulls up on my left again, and gives me the lip-licking move again, and I can't believe it so I'm cracking up. He goes ahead and comes around to my right again, so I finally smile and shake my head "no." He smiles, gives me an "ok" nod, we wave and he pulls off at the next exit.

I didn't go for it because I've got a boyfriend, but that's the first time anything like that has happened to me and it put a smile on my mug for a good while!

And that's my funny holiday travel story.

Well, after that was followed by about three hours of NYC traffic, so don't get jealous =)
