Go for a clean bulking diet and an established beginners body building plan such as rippletoes or starting strength. Keep a diary. Sleep 8 hours a day. Cut the running down during the course of your lifting cycle. Mostly, eat more than you think you probably need, try myfitnesspal.com to keep tabs on your diet after you calculate your caloric and protein needs.

    Good luck.

With such a paucity of information about yourself how the heck do you expect anyone to give you a good answer

First thing, understand that anything worth doing is worth doing well. Bearing that in mind, you should go complete your profile. You can't expect any level of qualified advice with such a plan for failure. That is, having no plan (and no information) is a plan for failure.

It's more than eating and working out. It takes time buddy. It takes MONTHS to even see a noticeable gain no matter how hard you workout.

First... Eat alot. 40% protein 40% carbs 20%efa (essential fatty acids).

Since you're a beginner, do a full body workout and stick to compound exercises (bench press, squat, deadlift, military/shoulder press, etc) don't just do bicep curl everyday or every other day like ALOT of the losers you see at the gym. That won't get you anywhere

And make sure you are don't get calorie deficiency. Shoot for at least 2500cals for your size. At least 3 balanced meal a day with some healthy snacks in between

Eat, lift, eat, sleep, eat, stretch, eat.
    In that order.
