    Today was World AIDS day.

Did you notice anything special going in your city, in your society towards it?

I went in St-James church in Montreal where there was two choirs (The Jubilation Gospel Choir, and Montreal's Gay Choir) offering a show with an amazing signer, Sylvie Desgroseillers and a nice ceremony orchestred by the church's father himself.

It was really awesome to see the Church and the Gay community walking hands in hands towards the same objectives : commemorating AIDS.

It was a definitely great moment.

In the past I have done performances, with a gay and dyke chorus on world aids day, a number of times. I have gone into home to care for people living with HIV, and so forth. But I noticed nothing this year, or did anything put ponder the issue, and the everlasting impact AIDS has had on my life, even though one is still HIV-.

In the 80s I witnessed time, and time agin, men infecting young men, because they did not want to deprive their dick of the party. I have survived, gay men going out of their way to infect me, because they had become bitter and twisted of a life deprived to them. I have lost countless friends. Because of it all I gave back my gay card and went back to live in the real world, and have stayed here for 25 years now.

This is my story so one will keep telling it. This day just makes one hang there head from all the things I seen and endured.
