Me; reminded a close friend that they are a blessing in my life, smiled and told a nice senior lady how she nice she looked.

I didn't kick a few men in the balls who deserved it and I didn't kick a few women in the twat who deserved. Because of that, they left work feeling as good as when they got there, which is to say, like shit.

I looked directly into the eyes of the woman who handed me my $1 fish fillet at McDonald's drive-thru and said, "You have a wonderful night."

Then I returned two minutes later and politely asked, "May I have a fresher fish fillet? This one is a little dried out."

Gave the delivery girl a pen since she didn't have one. Now she doesn't have to bug every person on her run for one!

I didn't kick anybody in the balls. That makes me friends with all of the other 6 billion people on the planet, because I could have!

Seriously men, and sorry if this is all pollyanna for a few of you, but the sarcasm is a little heavy. Try it, if you haven't, and see what a reaction you get. Investment is nothing, return is huge. Plus it is the holiday season, the world is already stressed out and doing a small thing can help change change someone's outlook for hope.

And could the tides really be turned and maybe someone didn't kick you in the balls today? Two way street everywhere, so make sure you're not the one who didn't get the worst version.

He would have felt very good if I'd shaved him, but he doesn't want to shave so I didn't feel him.

My roomates and I were cooking some macaroni. Nobody wanted to cut the onions into pieces.

So I sacrificed myself and did it, while crying the shit out of my eyes.

Some people can't but help be sarcastic because they don't know how to be anything else.

Anyway, I sent an encouraging message and hug to someone feeling down about the upcoming Christmas season.

I held doors open for people and didn't yell at people while I was driving, oh and yesterday I helped a friend put together furniture.
My sister was talking about writing on post-its giving compliments to random people. Thought it was cute.

I went in the snow to gather wood, so that my partner could relax in front of the fireplace, drinking a the small cup of whisky that I brought him.
Told him I loved him, and when job stress vanished and he went to bed, blowed him into sleep icon_redface.gif

I resisted the urge to text on my phone and actually paid full attention (unlike a lot of people haha) during the two-hour lab period where I had to listen to my classmates present unbearably boring lab reports about genes in fruit flies and their homologues in humans. Then I clapped really enthusiastically at the end.

Also, the girl in front of me at Starbucks forgot her wallet so I paid for her.

What a cool topic. I offered to help my veteran friend get the help he needs for his war wounds he sustained in Iraq. The VA is screwing him over so I'm going to be pro-active for him and do all I can. A country is only as good as the way it treats those trained to protect it. Right now we are not doing well at all. Although Iraq is a controversial war that does not lessen the fact that he was sent to do a job, did his job, and now his government is turning a deaf ear to him.
