Hey guys, i'm looking to get into rowing here in LA and was wondering what places were good. Was looking for a gay rowing assn., but can't seem to find one. I checked the gay and lesbian rowing federation already.

Thanks guys,

Cheers, Matthew

The Long Beach Rowing Association trains out of Belmont Shores at the Marine Stadium in Long Beach.

LionsRC and LARC both row in Marina Del Rey.

I row a single out of the UCLA Marina Aquatic Center.

Hey Matthew: check out our new social network on GLRF; we have unlimited groups and we have a group for gay rowers for Los Angeles called the West Hollywood Oars, aka WHOars. Here is the link:

Hi,
If you are still looking to row in LA feel free to send me a message. I'd be happy to fill you in on rowing options in Marina Del Rey. I coach in the Marina and would be happy to assist you in getting started.
