Look I call one of the most livable country and cities home, and am content where I live. But in many ways homosexuality is much the same in Oz as it is in the US, so for that it would make little diffrence to one, and one would still vote and live much the same, so little would change. In fact one is looking at calling Hawai'i home for part of the year.

I also pay for my own health insurance too!

really you are smart to of found this. You too if never been with a women, are also a pure homosexual, as I am not the only one. I wear it with pride, and you should too if you qualify.

But you do live in the land of the free still, as Obama has not yet been able to kill that. It's only yourself that is holding you back, and of course if you don't like it you can always leave. But there is a very strong force in America that is going to keep the American dream alive.. That movment is called the Tea Party, but it's nothing nwe, look at what they achived in Boston, sometime ago.

I was to wear my Reagan for President T/shirt with pride today, and even down here in Oz another country full of opportunity like America was to gain a lot of positive attention too.

Remember if America losses it's freedom so will Oz, so it's worth fighting for, and putting our counties before our own personal want too.

Yes a pure homosexual is true blue, the real thing, and thank you for supporting it.icon_wink.gif

Sunshine, they can black away, One has always encouraged that. It makes it more peaceful, as one does not have endure the hatful abuse from the gay left. I love the way the gay left of America love to attack people with different political opinions then try to dismiss them as insufficient. I feel it helps them not deal with the issue at hand, and too remain ignorant. I for one don't feel threatend my a person who votes left wing, only that they put themselves before their own country.

But like encouraging people to block someone you may well not like is so democrat, but so un american. It's like that Rockefeller dude, trying to block, and stop Fox news from reporting, but nothing about the New York Times.. It's censorship, and that so un American, as America is all about freedom of speech, I may not always agree with what I have to say, but I have the right to express it.

But also forums are for debate and diffrent opinions, and one has the ability to see the other side. If name calling helps you, lift yourself up, than I'm happy to of been of service. We may well pass in the street one day soon, or even stand next to each other in a bar; aloha.

And here's hoping someday you find some other country to ignorantly malign and pester. And BTW, by definition fascism is a right-wing political term, and does not apply to the left wing.

Fascists seek to organize a nation according to corporatist perspectives, values, and systems, including the political system and the economy. Fascism was originally founded by Italian nationalists in World War I who combined extreme right-wing political views along with collectivism. Scholars generally consider fascism to be on the far right.

To which I might add that the term fascist itself was adopted by modern Italian nationalists from the ancient Latin word "fasces" which was a bundle of rods the Romans used as a symbol for absolute State authority. As much an economic system as political, it places great power in the hands of business, which partners with the State and assumes much of its power & authority, to the exclusion of the ordinary people, who lose their democratically-elected institutions (aka "privatization")

So would you try to tell us again what political wing in the US best fits the term fascist?

More whine than call to action. icon_rolleyes.gif

As empty slogans go "I can" is literally " all talk, no action."

It is a self-centred, passive (inactive) statement. Absolutely nothing othing to be proud of in that as a slogan icon_lol.gif

" I Will" or or "I Do" by contrast are active statements directed away from the self.

Contrast "I Can" with "Ask what you can do for your country."

The first conjures an image of an overweight slob in a Lazy-Boy Yeah, he could, but he never actually does anything.

Regarding whether fascism is right-wing or left-wing, I suggest the following book.

Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, From Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning [Hardcover]
    Jonah Goldberg

    http://www.amazon.com/Liberal-Fascism-American-Mussolini-Politics/dp/0385511841/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1291473886&sr=8-1

    From Publishers Weekly
In this provocative and well-researched book, Goldberg probes modern liberalism's spooky origins in early 20th-century fascist politics. With chapter titles such as Adolf Hitler: Man of the Left and Brave New Village: Hillary Clinton and the Meaning of Liberal Fascism—Goldberg argues that fascism has always been a phenomenon of the left. This is Goldberg's first book, and he wisely curbs his wry National Review style. Goldberg's study of the conceptual overlap between fascism and ideas emanating from the environmental movement, Hollywood, the Democratic Party and what he calls other left-wing organs is shocking and hilarious. He lays low such lights of liberal history as Margaret Sanger, apparently a radical eugenicist, and JFK, whose cult of personality, according to Goldberg, reeks of fascist political theater. Much of this will be music to conservatives' ears, but other readers may be stopped cold by the parallels Goldberg draws between Nazi Germany and the New Deal. The book's tone suffers as it oscillates between revisionist historical analyses and the application of fascist themes to American popular culture; nonetheless, the controversial arc Goldberg draws from Mussolini to The Matrix is well-researched, seriously argued—and funny.

But the last two word in American are not I do or I will, it's I can, and in America anything is still possible, it's still (albeit just) the land of opportunity, and when America losses it's freedon, so will Oz and other free countries too, and freedon does not come free either.

So since America and Americanisation has such a strong influence on my county Oz, and it's not all been positive, one will continue to have a say in American politics as it does involve one, and my county and culture too.

Also one has family in the US, and a long prominate family history tooicon_razz.gif

It was the gay liberals of Germany that was too help put the fascist government and Mr Hitler in power, with the hollow promise of advancement, and the night of the Long Knives put an end to that promise, and dream of advancement, for the gay liberals of Germany. I once had an elderly Jewish German neighbor, who's well off family lost everything, and just got out of Germany in time, and only with their lives, as everything else was taken away; gone.

It was Ruth who was to bring this to my attension, as she was to once tell me, only because she felt safe to do so, how she feared homosexuals on mass, for what they would do for advancement, and how she recalled the histeria of the Night of the Long Knives. I have seen here, from the gay left wing of America, how they to could help repeat history, by voting in another Mr Hitler with the false promise of advancement.

How many homosexuals and bisexuals as you red that voted in Obama, with the hope of advancement, and now many realise how dumb they where, but it's to late he is already in power.

Also red you spent almost 50 years of your life as a straight person, and have spent most of your life with equality, and the fact you now feel a second class citizen must be a dent to your narcissism, but then thats why you feel a second class citizen as you original opinion of homosexuals was very low. Yet us pure homosexuals know no such thing, yet would not be fooled by a man like Obama.

Also language is a living thing, where some like Latin become dead, and others like English one a minor German dialect, grow and thieve. So words also change meaning too, like gay once meant bright and happy, and now. Also fascist now belongs to the right hand side of the left wing!

If one was to decide my vote on things because I was born whit, and blond, people would say thats wrong and call one a Neo Nazi. So What is the diffrence to homosexuals and bisexuals voting on because of their sexuality; very little. So to me fascism in America belongs to the gay left; so suck it up! Also gay republicans vote for the better of their country as their sexuality does not define them as a whole.

I thank God for an organisation like the tea Party to counteract this and the real fascist of America, try to stick their own label on them.

PS Red you also give yourself the right to any opinion you wish, no matter how hurtful, hatful it may be, and no consideration of who you may hurt, even if it means gloating about the death of anther, or wishing another death or harm. You have tryed to silance one on gay issues when you are bisexual and spent most of your life as a heterosexual, and I full time homosexual. What word would you attach to that? Dictator. I'm sure you would be happy for minority rule, if it meant you got your way, as once did gay liberals of Germany.

The NSDAP was centered in Munich, a hotbed of German nationalists who included Army officers determined to crush Marxism and undermine the Weimar Republic. Gradually they noticed Hitler and his growing movement as a suitable vehicle for their goals. Hitler traveled to Berlin to visit nationalist groups during the summer of 1921, and in his absence there was a revolt among the DAP leadership in Munich.

The party was run by an executive committee whose original members considered Hitler to be overbearing. They formed an alliance with a group of socialists from Augsburg. Hitler rushed back to Munich and countered them by tendering his resignation from the party on 11 July 1921. When they realized the loss of Hitler would effectively mean the end of the party, he seized the moment and announced he would return on the condition that he replace Drexler as party chairman, with unlimited powers. Infuriated committee members (including Drexler) held out at first. Meanwhile an anonymous pamphlet appeared entitled Adolf Hitler: Is he a traitor?, attacking Hitler's lust for power and criticizing the violent men around him. Hitler responded to its publication in a Munich newspaper by suing for libel and later won a small settlement.

The executive committee of the NSDAP eventually backed down and Hitler's demands were put to a vote of party members. Hitler received 543 votes for and only one against. At the next gathering on 29 July 1921, Adolf Hitler was introduced as Führer of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, marking the first time this title was publicly used.

Hitler's beer hall oratory, attacking Jews, social democrats, liberals, reactionary monarchists, capitalists and communists, began attracting adherents. Early followers included Rudolf Hess, the former air force pilot Hermann Göring, and the army captain Ernst Röhm, who eventually became head of the Nazis' paramilitary organization the SA (Sturmabteilung, or "Storm Division"), which protected meetings and attacked political opponents. As well, Hitler assimilated independent groups, such as the Nuremberg-based Deutsche Werkgemeinschaft, led by Julius Streicher, who became Gauleiter of Franconia. Hitler attracted the attention of local business interests, was accepted into influential circles of Munich society, and became associated with wartime General Erich Ludendorff during this time.

Sounds like BUSH.. not Obama.... I think your auntie was a nazi sympathizer..
