I found this music video, a parody of Keisha We R Who we R.

Before you guys say anything negative about fem guys, watch this.

I think what they are doing is great, beside a great ton of fun and getting famous, they are actually fighting for the LGBTQ rights. What this video speaks out to me is that the fem guys are taking back the power from heterosexual people. It actually takes alot of guts to do this. The main message of the video, in my opinion is "Yes, we are gays, Deal with it straight people, we don't have to deal with the constant hate from the heterosexual anymore."
"You think we are fem and what we are doing is a sin? Fine, we are not going to be moled into a streotype that YOU created for us because we are going to create our own identity and gender. Who says all gay guys are supposed to be "straight" acting. Just like the colors of the rainbows, there are those who are proud of who they are. (No offense to the closetted or the "straight" acting guys) Just like you choose the way you want to live your life, we are going to choose ours. However, it doesn't make you better than we are. What we demand is more tolerance and live our lives as we want to live without being gay bashed."

I am not feminine but I do applaud those guys in the video for doing this. Because, truly, it takes more balls to do this than bench pressing 150Ibs.

I think it's about time we, gay guys in general, take back what is our right to live happily from the straight people. Enough is enough. Enough with "faggots", Enough with "teen suicide" Enough "gay bashing".

In addition I do believe that we should be alittle bit more tolerant of others in our own community as well, especially with Fem guys, are they annoying? threads.

haha it's funny and they did a good job. I think that the only people it's going to rally for LGBTQ rights are those that are LGBTQ. Not that that's bad, and I understand your point.... but I don't think many straight people understand fem people, and there are a lot of gay people that don't understand fem people either. I think there is a big difference between displays of gay pride and of gay rights. It's debatable who actually created the fem stereotype, and who perpetuates it. I think there is contribution from both "sides" on that one.

good for them but i still feel alienated and hated against. there's plenty of shit for fem guys to feel good about. theyre on tv the news everywhere. there's no media coverage of straight acting gay guys and most straight guys dont even know that we exist. whenever i tell someone i'm gay they think i'm one of those fairies and i've had enough. gods sakes someone post something that isnt the same old cliche.

    Agree with you.
Sadly tolerance is less communicative than intolerance.
One grow out of care and attention, the other grow like a weed.

    So, thank for you post

I personally think that this version is much better than Kesha's. At least, this mv brings me lots of fun. As for Kesha's version, ugh... forget about it. Their version of I wanna see your peacock is also good! To be honest, I wont think of the issue of their identity while I watch this mv!
As for the tolerance of gay, I have to say this can't be fixed or solved just by uploading mv like this. It might arouse some positive effects but if you wanna see 100% accpetance, than you may pray the end of the world coming soon and rebuilt it. Anyway, I like the idea and the way it presents! Yep!

The "We R who we R" video was one of the weaker ones. Telephone is the best and California Girls is great too. I was a little disappointed with the latest video.

Hats off to a good thread!

You hit it on the head. Even if you aren't attracted to feminine guys, I don't get how some gay men are SO negative toward feminine guys. You don't have to sleep with them but can't you at least be nice and respect them? Just my little rant this morning. icon_smile.gif
