    Life ...

    is amazing.

Be thankful to just be living.
Be thankful for what you have.
I feel that people are too 'busy' too caught up in their own lives to even give it a second thought. No one should ever be too busy. Take a step back and take a breath of gratitude. For real, actually take a step back and look at life. I can never stress it enough.
You get to experience this amazing, amazing thing called life.
It doesn't matter to what or whom you are grateful.

Try it. If you really do mean it, it gives you this new kind of oxygen, if you will. Oxygen filled with unconditional love for your life, for other people, the world. Something different. It will energize you with life.

I luckily have the awesome skill where music can really set the mood and it takes me on a journey of gratitude.

So so alive, so real, that it gives you a surreal kind of feel, so amazing. So refreshing.

    Give it up for life.

Hehe, yes life is brilliant. It's also terrible and cruel, but those bad times just make you appreciate the good times all the more.

After 39 years of experience, I don't see what is so amazing about this thing you call life. To each their own, I guess. icon_rolleyes.gif

    This is a great post!

I used to breathe with deep reverence for each dawning day and it is easy to become distracted losing perspective of the big picture. Society coaxes us to believe that we will love life and success if everyone strives for the same traditional standards. It's just our attitude and experiences that enriches our existence.

I have a few friends living with terminal illness and another disabled. They are struggling spiritually looking back realising they have spent their lives just working, competing to be like everyone else.icon_neutral.gif

Thanks for the reminder. I also hope you really did get laid.

There IS MORE to Life than what is happening around us, and its the simpliest things that we dont notice or take for granted that could give us joy and peace if we just let it.

So thank you very much for reminding me that.

    Great post.

There was a time I would have finished that with "sucks." As I get older, though, I realize that's not true at all. Life can seem hard and unfair, but when you look deeper, it's really not that bad--it's all in your perspective.

I used to get depressed every year when my birthday rolled around, until I lost two friends back to back due to illness--neither of them lived to see mid-30's. That taught me how short life is; so what if Im getting older, it just means Im ALIVE.

Life is great; live it up while you can, since it's over before you know it....
