What do you wear to the gym for a general workout (jog/run/walk/weight lift/perhaps a class -- all in one)? Just looking for general opinions! Have fun.

Feel free to give SPECIFICS -- brand, color, link to clothing or even pictures!

I wear gym shorts and a loose T-shirt if indoors. Outdoors, I wear a hoodie and track pants. I definitely don't don the I'm-fashionable-at-the-gym look. I'm there to work out and perspiration is one outcome thereof.

A black t-shirt or tank, short black running shorts, no show black socks, and black Nike shoes. Notice a pattern for my preferred gym color???

    my (lime green) running shoes
    almost no-see running socks
    my (yellow) running shorts
gray tank top (no top if running outdoors)

I am past the days when I cared what people wear, whether it is cool, and what they think of me. icon_rolleyes.gif

Red/black longsleeve mock neck UA compression top, a black t-shirt over that, (sometimes my black/white A.Eagle track jacket over that) black/white/red gym shorts at knee-length, black Nike ankle-high socks, and my standard issue University of Oregon marching band shoes. (They're actually quite comfortable and athletic.) icon_lol.gif

Usually just underwear to keep my dick and balls from swinging around and getting hurt.
If I'm just using weights and doing no cardio, I workout nude.

Gym shorts, sleeveless tee, crosstrainer shoes. I am about functionality and not fashion. Give me something that works, I stick with it. I go to the gym to lift, sweat, train. Beyond that I do not care. I wear what works for me. I could wear shirts with sleeves, but they bind up when I lift. I could wear lycra shorts, but I have no need to show my junk and it does not help me lift any better. Cross trainer shoes work well for lifting, in both powerlifting and just gym exercises. I wear a t-shirt without sleeves cause my bi's need oxygen and I like when guys see my huge guns. lol

A jock with a full seat--that's the one constant. That way I can shave and groom and such without feelin' like stuff is hangin' out. Other than that, usually light grey 100% cotton T and gym shorts. Grey is the pareve of gym clothing because it can be washed with either light or dark loads. Judging by the smell, I've always thought it best to get it washed with the first available load icon_eek.gif

90% of the time I'll be wearing a tank top, sweats with bike tights (more like dance shorts really) under it. Sometimes I'll wear shorts under instead if I feel like people are going to give me the stink eye. Also, when it's really cold I might wear a sweater, too.

Everything stays on when I warm up, sweater might come off when I lift, and sweats come off when I practice.
