None here yet in Northern VA. Have you? If so, how much?

I'm hoping it snows soon so I can wear my black hiking boots. They make me feel all butch and country-like. icon_smile.gif

No snow in southern Kansas, but if we did, it would be a little unusual at this stage of the game. Our snow (if we have any) comes post Christmas most generally.

We have some winters where we see a decent ammount (like... a couple of inches every few weeks) and some winters where we will get absolutely nothing. But never this early in the year.

So I walk out of my apartment saturday morning to pay rent, and it's pooring buckets of snow completely randomly. We got a good 2 or 3 inches though icon_smile.gif

We have only had a dusting so far here in the Detroit area and it usually melts during the day. We are expecting an inch or two tomorrow night and maybe more over the weekend. We do get our share of snow here, but southeast Michigan does not usually get anything like the snowfall the rest of the state is known for.

But Montreal always has tonnes of snow!

Chicago so far not that much really but as a Londoner I have to say it was plenty for me.

I saw plenty of it fall while waiting at the Minneapolis-St Paul airport last week. My flight back to tx was delayed for hours because only one runway was open and all arriving flights were in a hold pattern.

This was quite a sight for me. Down here when it snows, the city all but shuts down. Up there, life goes on as usual....

I really liked when snow storm just makes the big city so silent. You hear nothing but the soft sound of falling snow.

I had a walk with my love in the middle of the night, that day.

    Here's my love...

In central Sweden we've had about a feet of the stuff sticking around since late November. No sign of it going away either. icon_neutral.gif

Columbus has had maybe 2-3 inches so far this winter....it mostly melts off or blows away during the day....and hangs around in the shade and at the edge of the grass, etc....BUT it IS COLD and windy! Got in my truck this AM and the thermometer was showing 8 degrees(F)...wind Chill was about -10(F)! ..I think I need a nice furry BEAR to help keep me warm! icon_biggrin.gificon_wink.gif

Yep. We had a big dump of it about a week or so ago. Right now it's warmer, rainy and windy; snow's gone.

Yes, we've been getting an inch or so every couple of days for several weeks now. It's all been getting compacted into a thin layer of ice though.

Not enough to make obscene snowmen, yet.
